56 Mar 17 Reply Yes, I debated how much to leave in.

The paint on the original is part of the Hindu religion - the particular sect.
It was also related to the major festival that was being held at the time.

It seems to me you used a watercolor painting effect.
I feel the yellow abstraction of the leaves is too strong & would prefer a more photorealistic effect.
I like the trunks.

What is striking to me & I like it very much since it has a strong impact, is to use your term "the Jigsaw puzzle effect which you kept just to the pond. it is very effective. I particularly like the right sided pond edge & the foreground Mar 9th
