Hi Brian,
Jane has given me permission to show you her images. She put a sheet of black cardboard behind them! |

I think its hard to compare them! Have you tried the coloured smoke against black or white? I have no idea what would happen with black......in fact I have seen some smoke lately ....must go and check out what they did! |

I REALLY like what you have done here! What fun! I like the colored background. I also like the shadow around the image. The only problems with it is that it shows up some rough edges that you could have smoothed out first! |

It is good to see how you took the photo! Our club did a session on smoke photos. It was really interesting!
I'm not sure about the blue/green background ....it is taking away the impact of the colors and swirls. Love the idea and the way you have put them together. |

Very colouful! I am amazed at those sharp curving. I didn't know that the Twirl tool could do that!
I like the way you have some of the originals over the twirl |

I agree with your comment about reflections! Your image is beautiful and your editing really improved the original image. I love the way the tree trunks have gone wobbly! |

Oh! IT makes me feel cold....which is not a bad thing in the heat we are having in OZ. The light is beautiful. I can see why you HAD to take this photo! |

The leaves are really standing out now whereas before not too many people would have even noticed them!
One tiny, tiny comment is that you can still see blue around part of one leaf!...but I can't believe the amount of detail and colour that you have managed to get. |

This is a totally different image! I like how the tree on the right is almost 3D! This is inviting us to walk into the picture. |

I like the "Olde Worlde" effect...though I can't help wondering how it would be with a bit more contrast in the rocks and your subjects...they could almost be silhouettes against that bright background! |

You have REALLY transformed this image! THe light on the building is perfect and the shading of the background building and sky really sets off your subject! |
