While I did notice the tree leaves being blurred while blurring the water, I had decided to let the effect stay on them, as if the wind was rustling them. As you say, it wouldn't be a hard thing to mask them back sharper, either. Thanks for your comments. |

Now that you mention it, it starts to bother me a little-even with the parallel and leading line as you observed. I'll probably want to remove it the next time around. Thanks for calling my attention to it. |

To me, the re-imagined barn door provides just the right amount of neutral-yet-interesting background to show off the ballet slippers with their realistic look. Nice work, Cindy. I, for one, have no problem with the context of the door. In fact, it might add to the "story" of the reason the shoes are hanging on its knob. |

She does seem to be lost in the music and dancing. Your new background has a sort of Native American look about it with a feathery appeal. (I guess I'm thinking like that because we recently attended a local powwow.) I would like to see her eyes rendered a bit darker, as in the original. She looks like she's in a world of her own now that the people in the background are blurred out. |

I almost want to reach out and stroke the fur. The only thing I might change is to darken the brighter grey grasses at lower left corner (just a tad). This is so fabulous, Gerhard! |

Priceless, Nancy! You shot this at the exactly right moment to capture the girl's expression and zeroed-in on the best parts of the photo. The added starfish gives her the needed reason for her wide-eyed surprise. I love the painted brush strokes in the blue background, too. This is a really fun painting to look at. I enjoyed it. |

I like the softness of the background which makes the sharper flower parts stand out with just a hint of the leaves. The colors are bright and attractive in your final version. |

I had not heard about this display, but it's nice to be able to see it from your point of view, the vastness of the small white flags (which I took to be sharp rocks at my first glance.) The shadows add such depth.
If I were to make a minor change, it would be to just clone out the wisps of clouds and just let the sky be solid blue (well, variegated, anyway, as it already is), since they add nothing to the scene and I'd rather be looking at the flags, shadows, and monument. |

This shot has just enough elements to tell the whole story and give it a sense of place. I like the simplicity of color and composition for a street shot. I liked Gene's insight of "portable office." Also, the overall blueish tones make it feel like being in a real alley. |

They are perfectly lined up in formation. Armadillos seem to be migrating north. We were surprised to see them (unfortunately as roadkill). I can see why they got their name, as they are certainly armored-dillos, as others are pointing out. You took a nice shot, Ruth, and I can't think of a thing you should change. |

It's been years since I saw such a complete circular web, although we get many spiders. Yours glows in the sun and the roadway seems to lead right into the center! If you did any post-processing, I would just suggest to darken the lower left corner or clone in some more greenery to cover the dried brown branches. You could play around with a copy of this in Snapseed. |

This is a good image for the scary season. I went back to April, 2019 to see whether the one you posted back then was the same building because it had impressed me. This version seems more aglow and easier to see the details, so you must have increased the brightness in dark areas. Snapseed was a great choice after combining such un-like images, making the final image so much more impactful than its parts. |
