It seems everyone has their own opinions here. To me the doorway behind the man ADDED to the image rather than detracting. I find the street looks too blue-ish on my screen and the wall behind the fellow is so dark that he doesn't stand out as much. But his bemused curious look is the real payoff of this street shot. You captured him at the right moment. |

Yes, this was in the Palouse area of Washington State. We went there to shoot on our own, a few days before the PSA Conference in Spokane. Those 2 days shooting in that region were a highlight of our trip. |

Hey, this is interesting, Margaret. You really zapped it alive with a rainbow of colors. I will have to check out ProCamera, now that I've seen what it can do. |

So here's the little critter you had named your lizard for back in October. ;-) I do like that greeny glow you gave him/it. I think one thing you could do is to darken the upper right corner just a bit to tone down the weeds. I haven't been this close to a grasshopper since I was a little girl. You really show the detail, despite the blur of the glow. |

The original is so perfect it didn't really need any extra work. You got the hang of using all your new equipment right out of the gate, I think. So nice! |

There's a WORLD of difference between what you shot and what you got as a work of art. Hard to believe the posies in the darkened room turned out to be such a delightful and stylish image. What attracts me is all the different angles the flower heads have and the color with the glowing tips. I agree with Carl about the background lines. |

There's always something interesting to shoot at Old World Wisconsin. I'm sure it's even more fun to see it with a child, especially your own personal shoe model. It's a nice contrast of modern and oldtime shoes and I agree entirely with the way you cropped. I like the diagonal line leading to the payoff of the sandals and the golden tone of the final product. |
