It makes me look forward to spring, seeing this pretty spot. That's a good sharp image for a cell phone. It's too bad that straightening the horizon caused the lower left to get cropped out. I liked seeing the stones in the clear waters. |

I very much like the image and what you did to it, although I find the phone pole a little distracting. I didn't particularly notice the ceiling above until I read your description. I don't think there's too much of it, just that it's a bit too light. Maybe you could tone down the very top with some vignetting. I hope your husband enjoyed your final image! |

Carl, your first image looks like a negative and I like it better in the final composite. Since you were looking to make the flag look tattered, I find that the images fading through the flag from the Lincoln image (both the fluttering flag and his suit) help create the look of worn-out folds and creases in the flag layer, particularly when paired with your grunge filter. A powerful-looking image for sure! |
