You definitely enhanced the sky and water but I don't see a lot of difference in the bridge itself (not that it needed anything). What a great angle for this scene and you shot it at just the right time of day. |

I like the idea of the water being brighter, but maybe not quite so much. The original sunset sky looked just fine to me although I like the new texture your painting added to the clouds. The boats are in interesting positions, so I would have left them all in the painting. |

The zebras DO look as though they're going faster in the painting than in the original shot where everything is sharp with motion stopped. I like what Kathy suggested with the water which complements the image with a darker shade. And you were right to give the animals the boost in contrast. You should be proud of this painting. It's just magnificent! |

Very timely subject! Nice to be able to see something like this in your own area. All you're missing is some snow. ;-) Merry Christmas, Nancy! |

My first impression was that of flying above clouds at sunset, since everything in the painted version is so soft. It is obvious what the original is, but it became more impressionistic. My own preference would be to emphasize some of the rockiness of the desert in selected spots to attract the eye of the viewer and leave the smoother parts soft. I do enjoy the colors. |
