I like how you handled the bare dirt part by cloning in some greenery and added the blue tone in the water before turning it into a painting. It works so well as a painting and has just enough interesting elements to look at! |

Jeanine, we enjoyed your participation. You are off to a great start in painting photos and I wish you were continuing next year. Enjoyed the green tones and textures in this month's painting. |

Well, that was a timely and exciting Halloween family scene. I'll bet that particular filter doesn't see much use on people photos, but you have proved it can be a useful tool in some cases. It certainly draws the eye to the people and off the background. |

Every month, I really enjoy your animal nature shots. They just keep getting more interesting-looking. I like the way you used smudge tool to get this painterly look. That's one I often forget to try. What a great-looking bird shot! |

The "energy" added by Topaz and the intense color (from Viveza?) turned this into such an exciting fall image. Even the blue trunks aren't terribly distracting, since the original has a tendency to the same coloration. Nice painting! |

Both the original shot and the painting turned out so well. Good choice to keep the same colors as the photo in the painting, since they are spot-on and complement the composition very well. |
