Elinor, I'm glad to know how you got this effect. The painting is completely a different mood from the photo. You were able to lose some unwanted elements and transplant some hills into the background, as well, giving it a sense of place and character. The paint-stroked clouds are very pretty. |

You created a family heirloom painting, Jeanine, with Mom's help. The soft background complements the softer shades of purple in the glads. I tried looking at it upside down and sideways and it looks lovely in all directions! |

This one really electrified me! I like the new, redhot background, lightning bolts and the extra lift to his hair. Most people are trying to get rid of red-eye. All those red eyes ended up in his face. What a clever and funny painting. He's such a good sport! I hope you made a copy for him. |

I liked how the Snapart gave the trees a snowy, hazy look and softened the photo, in general, into a dreamlike painting. |
