Thanks, Cyril. Sounds like I got the effect on the viewer that I had hoped for. |

Little panda at the bottom doesn't bother me one bit. I sort of thought he balanced the bigger one at upper left and hid a distraction of an empty fork in the tree. The big one is sure gazing right at the photographer. Good job removing the fencing and nice framing, too. Looks like an aging Chinese manuscript image with the tones you chose. I must say, it's unique. The only thing I don't care for is where the paint overlaps the trunks on both sides, since the rest of the trees are clear. If you had it on a layer, a mask could touch it up. |

It's hard to tell it was a dark day, since the light floods into this scene! I especially like the soft look and the way you trailed the flowers down like a reflection. It's a still life with personality. The greens and yellows are more flattering to the subject than the original browny-oranges. |

This is a very pretty setting. I also agree the sky looks better cropped out. To me, the scene is sort of in-between: now that it's soft and pastel, maybe make it a lot more obviously a watercolor by losing more detail and softening/blurring the scene even more or else intensify the color to the original level. Right now, it looks less a painting and more a blurry image on my screen. |
