What a find! I love old buildings and you presented it well. Love the textures and your composition. I think adding a little of the roof was a good call. Such an interesting photo with great details. At first, I thought of suggesting adding a little more contrast, but looking at it longer, the faded look fits the subject. Nicely captured and presented. |

I really like the bring yellow against the wood. You have nice texture on the tree trunk and you have a strong composition. I wish there was a little more detail in the orchids. |

Your choice of cropping this image works well with the boats and people going opposite directions. The reflections add to the image. You did a nice job of stopping the action and have reasonable focus. Nice job in this photojournalism photo. Love their concentration. |

Wonderful job with your post processing. As Robert says, the final image really "pops". I have stitched 3 images together before, but never 5! Impressive work. The conservatory should use this in their promotional literature. |

Love the vibrant orange with the streak of yellow and the silhouettes. Nicely done. I wouldn't change a thing. |

I have no idea what this is, but I agree that the shadows are nice and so are the textures. Love the rich colors as well. Great focus and, all in all, an interesting photo well captured. My only suggestion is to crop the left side to eliminate the background. For me, it is a little distracting and doesn't need to be there. |

You got the bee in a good position on the flower and it shows the scale/size compared to the flower so well. I like the square format but I would suggest cropping in closer. I also think that your focus is a bit soft. I played with it some and gave it a light vignette. I would be interested in seeing it in color, too. |

What a wonderful close-up with good impact. Everything is tack-sharp and the details are great. I think your vignette is perfect. I wouldn't have even noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it. I usually try a slight vignette in most photos. Nice job! I don't have any suggestions for improvement. |

I am so sorry to hear that you having health issues. You have a remarkably positive attitude and seem to be looking for the bright side of things and drawing strength from your struggles. I admire your attitude and perseverance. I hope that photography will bring you peace and purpose. There are so many things around the house (and flowers from the store) that you can photograph.
You have a remarkably good focus and details in your image and chronicling your progress is so meaningful. I like the angles of the bottles in your staging. Excellent job! The only thing I would suggest is to use the healing brush to get rid of the white dots.
I wish you the best. |

OK, so I had to try it. It's interesting, but I think I like the tones in the color version a little better. |
