Thanks, David. I see your point. I think this is really more of a postcard shot. |

It's a nice capture and I think the name on the boat was a distraction and it was good to remove it. I love the reflections in the water. I think I might have cropped down on the top of the bridge too unless there was more showing - like the whole bike rider. For me, the image is not very sharp. |

I love to photograph orchids and they are difficult to get the whole flower in focus. Your orchids are reasonably in focus and I like the soft colors. My only suggestion is to crop in a little tighter. |

You have excellent clarity, exposure and focus. I love the colors. It is very busy, but I think that is one of the things that attracted you to this scene. I would suggest cropping the left to eliminate the partial person and maybe some on the right to tighten up the frame and avoid the blank concrete patch. |

Wow! The is a fantastic macro. He looks like he is posing for you. Your sharpness and focus is excellent where it needs to be and the focus falling off behind your subject helps keep him the star of the show. Such clarity! This is a winner for sure. |

An interesting image that to those of us who don't know what the whole scene is - an abstract. You have a reasonably good focus and the small bright grass is a good focal point in a crash point, making a nice composition. |

A busy scene with a lot to look at. I am not sure what the main subject is. Technically everything is handled very well, but I think a straight on perspective may have worked better. |

A good street photography scene with nice emotions on the faces. You have good clarity and tonal values. Like Lorna, I wish that the salesman on the left was more visible. He is important to the story you are telling. I think you can crop in tighter on the right. I wish the two women in the back were not in your shot. Waiting, however, may have changed the emotions of your subjects. Than's why street photography is so challenging! |

The interaction between your two subjects is priceless and your crop is good. You captured a nice moment. I understand the soft look for the soft lighting in the scene, however, I think a sharper image with more contrast would give it a little more "pop" and greater tonal value. I also added a slight vignette. What do you think? |

Monochrome was definitely the way to go with this portrait. Your image is crisp and sharp. Her expression is wonderful. I wonder if you can do something to separate the hair from the background. They seem to blend in together. |

Welcome back, Paul. I like both the color and mono versions of this image and I like the way the owl is looking directly at you. I might suggest lightening the eyes a bit and, to my eye, the forehead is a little blown out. You might be able to recover some of the detail. |

Interesting and unique. Love the color and starburst. I don't think you need the clouds on the right. I would crop in quite a bit and just feature the bottle. |

Lovely set of three. I like that the background is darkened to show off your subjects. The composition is good as are the details and textures. My only suggestion is to brighten the flowers just a bit. I really like this image. |

What a great setting to showcase this lovely butterfly. Your details and textures are excellent. I would suggest toning down the bright green moss a bit so it doesn't compete with the gorgeous color of your main subject. |

What a great idea for a close up. I am going to a car show at our art museum next week. You've given me the inspiration to look for details. The diagonal line of the handle makes a nice composition. I cannot think of anything to suggest. Nice job! |

The details and tones of colors are lovely. This is a great flower (center) for a close up. I like the details of the center but think the petals could be a little softer. |
