You eliminated several distractions in your final rendition, making it a stronger image. I like the details and centered composition. I agree with doing it in monochrome. Nice way to document the building and the event. Good focus. |

Wow! This has impact and is beautiful. This just might be my favorite all-time photo of yours. I have no suggestions for improvement except print it on metal and hang! Gorgeous! |

You caught a good shot of him. I like the shadow in the grass and that you left room for him to wander into. A little more light around the eye (which appears well in focus) might do the trick. |

I applaud you for seeing the art in this siple scene. This works well for me. I would think The Red Lion Inn might be able to use this for advertising! |

Very creative and inventive of you! This really works for me. Love the colors, lighting, composition and the softness. Hope you consider using this for your Christmas card next year. Nice job! |

The contrast of the curved lines in the field and the tall vertical sticks makes for an interesting composition. The colors of the trees and especially of the sky are distracting, however, and give the photo an odd feel. Have you tried monochrome? |

I like the idea of using old heritage items in still life photos. I think you have a good main subject, however, it gets lost in the distracting background. I would recommend a set-up of the recipe box and some kitchen items to tell a story rather than just sitting it on the table. The recipes and box are in god focus. This could make a very meaningful fine art piece for your family. |

You have an interesting event and a nice compositional number of 3. I think monochrome was the way to go here. For my taste, there is too much background and your main subjects are lost. I think zooming in to the racing shells and eliminating all the background distractions would make this a stronger image. |

A lovely portrait of a beautiful girl doing what everyone does now - selfies. You have nice skin tones on the face but the arm looks unnatural. Is there a reason you removed the sleeve? You did a nice job in your composition of isolating her, however, I agree with Lorna that some cleanup of the background is needed, especially around the hand and phone. |

Such an interesting photo. Bringing up the shadows added so much interest and you did a nice job with the skew adjustment. This makes a nice monochrome, however, the color is nice, too. Good depth of field. I don't have any suggestions for improvement. |

I like both the color and monochrome versions. You have a wonderful range of tones in your monochrome, ranging from pure black to white. You did an excellent job with your sliders. I like the setting for the truck; it gives me a lot to explore. Excellent job! |

I agree with Bob's comments about darkening the stone on the right. I also think you could crop out half of the stone. It doesn't add much to your image. On my monitor, the image is very pixelated which is probably the result of cropping in so much. |

Lovely flower and the painterly blurred background is gorgeous in design and color. The background really sets off the flower and its color. You have handled the whites very well and the curve to the stem adds to your image. It's fine the way it is compositionally, however, I agree with Bob, that you could crop some off the bottom. |

This does make an interesting abstract design. I am not a fan of the pastel blue and think that a monochrome version really enhances the design and makes this a stronger image. |

Wonderful composition, colors and blurred background. With that being said, I wish the bee was in sharper focus. |

Great focus and colors. Not all photos need a focal point, but I feel like this one does. Maybe a bug or small bee for the viewer to rest the eye. |
