45 Apr 24 Comment An interesting shot and the stairs lead me right up and into the frame. For me the kiosk is the focal point. The fact that everything was leaning to the left bothered me, so I straigtened the frame and added a little saturation. Apr 6th

45 Apr 24 Comment What a wonderful photo! The Washington Monument is perfectly framed by Stumpy's branches and the monument casts a lovely reflection. The sky is perfect as is the composition. My only suggestion is to lighten the image just a bit, especially around Stumpy. Apr 6th
45 Apr 24 Comment I also agree that the yellow cast is not as appealing as the version that David did. For my taste, the foreground is oversharpened and "crunchy". I am not sure that the people in the background, although blurred, add anything to the image. I think cropping down to eliminate them would make a more impactful image. I think a lower angle, as Robert suggested, would help make the painting the focal point. Apr 6th

57 Apr 24 Comment Great compostion (except for the brown stem) and lighting. It is reasonably focused, but as others have said, it could have been a little sharper, especially to have those little hairs sharper. I like what Tom did. Apr 26th

57 Apr 24 Comment The flowers are so nice and sharp and the blurred back floweer to the right gives demension to the photo. You handled the whites beautifully. I agree that the upper background is distracting and I would have liked to have seen the whole petals on the flower in the upper left. Apr 26th
