I also like the monochrome version best. It is more dramatic and I love the details of the branches. You had a nice sky for this shot. My only sugestion is to flip it horizontally so my eye is lead into the scene. |

I think this is well done; the composition and contrast are right on. For me, it is an architecural shot, all about shapes and lines. I think a monochrome version highlights this more than color. I really like it! |

Such a great scene; love the colors. You have wonderful focus and clarity. I agree with David's crop, but I think you could leave a little more on both sides as long as you crop out the woman in the black coat to the far right. This would make a beautiful jigsaw puzzle! |

This is a wonderful photo - well captured. Frame it! I agree with David and Robert about your composition - excellent! |

David, I agree with you that the compostion of the original is an environmental portrait which would be a great PJ image. Your final is more of a portrait which has a lot of interest. Like Robert, I really like the eye contact he has with you. My only suggestion is to brighten his face just a little. |

Another lovely night scene from you. You have visited so many interesting places! I like the way your scene is framed by the tree silhouette on the right and the bright tower and ferris wheel on the left. It is an interesting shot well captured. I prefer keeping the exposure dark so the dots of lights shine so brightly. |

I like your shallow depth of field as well as the details and texures of the yarn. I would suggest that you crop in from the right - the last doll doesn't add anything to your image. |

You did a great job of stopping the action and the close up of her expression is so nice. I think it is such a wonderful capture because you got down to her level. Nicey done! This is a wonderful PJ photo. I do like James' edits very much, too. |

A very, very nice mono landscape. You handled the snow very well and have just the right amount of detail in the trees. The S curve brook is great. I like James' crop very much; I don't think you need all the trees n the right. |

I like both versions and I like your composition very much. Good focus, textures and interest. My only suggestion is to clone something (dark trees, dark sky) into the bright upper right corner. Being so bright it leads my eye right there and away from the nice grill work. |

An interesting place to shoot. I agree with Lorna, that another angle might have more impact. You have a great leading line, but it doesn't lead to anything in this composition - it leads me right out of the frame on the right, almost bypassing the rock formations. The bright sky (in the mono version) and bright rocks in the lower right also take my eye away from the point of interest. It is certainly worth another shot. |

I love the textures in this image. The subtle colors and compostion are great. My only suggestion is to brighten it and then add a slight vignette to make the shutter dog stand out more from the background. |

Such a lovely delicate image. I love everything about it. While I like Stuart's version, I think yours has a more artistic quality. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. Nice job! |

Nice, in focus shot of the flower. Everything that needs to be sharp is. I like the purple background and your rotation. I would suggest that you darken the purple quite a bit so that the saturation and brightness doesn't compete with the yellow. |

Beautiful shot of the flower with nice lighting. I would suggest you zoom in for a real close-up, eliminating the busy, bright background and the bud which is cut off. |
