I went back to the drawing board with a new crop and a vignette as well as no red handle. |

I love the old-time feel that you have achieved with this. The monochrome tratment is perfect. I like David's suggestion of cropping, especilly the left as I find the bright NORTH sign distracting as it pulls my eye there. |

I love to take photos of windows and doors when I travel. You found a beauty here with gorgeous colors. Very well done. You may want to add a little room all the way around if you plan on framing this since it is cropped so closely. As it is, it is so nice, but next time, maybe try to get a little more of a straight-on shot. |

I like the composite that you did and you did it very well. It makes a very pleasing image. For my taste, it is a little dark and noisy. I brightened it a little in the center and used Camera Raw noise reduction. |

This is a peaceful scene with an old time film charm to it, especially with the darkened edges. I was going to suggest adding some saturation to it, but like David said it would loose its old film look. |

What an awesome transformation from the orginal image. This photo is impressive and your post-processing has made it a dramatic work of at. I like the lights at the top even if they are not from the train. They add to the drama and interest. |

I like the colors and the streaking of the snow, but like David, I would like to see the background a little sharper. For me, the background is the star of the show and the snow a supporting character, not the other way around. |

I think this is a wonderful photo to celebrate/document the history of your city. You have nice focus on the building and a sky that has interest but doesn't overpower the brewery. Almost 1/2 of the frame is the road, which, for me, doesn't add anything to the image. I cropped the bottom and left to eliminate the white building. Since the white building was the brightest spot in the frame, it drew my eye there. I also opened the shadows in Camera Raw so the front door was visible and added a slight vignette to keep the viewers' eye in the frame. |

Tchnically this is excellent - focus, exposure and composition are right-on. The woman has a lovely expression. I wish you had been able to stand to the left a little more so we could see at least the side of the little girl's face and perhaps her hands to see what she is doing. I don't understand the story behind it. |

For me, this is too dark and the head and beak of the hummingbird are hidden. The blurred background is nice, but the leaves on the right bottom corner are distracting and could be easily cloned out. |

I love photographing things with texture and you certainly have it here. For me, the vines get lost in the light areas of the wood. |

Excellent image with wonderful clarity, focus and exposure. I like the mono version best. My only suggestion is to crop the left side to eliminate the chair. Nice job! |

A nice pattern shot, however, I'm not sure where to rest my eye. For me, it lacks a focal point of interest. This might make a nice background layer for a composite image. I would suggest a little more contrast. |

An intersting and creative shot. I like the ultra violet lighting and the diagonal lines add interest. Chuck's suggestions may add a little more "pop" to the image. My only nit-pick is the merger at the top of the frame. |

A well done shot of the sewing machine with good focus and exposure. I'm not sure you need so much of the surrounding area. I would have liked to have seen you really zoom into the machine itself. As it is, it is a nice photo. |

Technically perfectly done. I like the background, too. I don't think you cropped too much, in fact, you could even crop more off the bottom. Another interesting shot may be to shoot looking straight down at the tomatoes. |

This really is an interesting bug and you did a good job capturing it. I like the shallow depth of field. The only suggestion I have is to crop in closer to the bug. For my taste, there is too much negative space, especially at the top of the frame. |

You did an awesome job of light painting. The black plexiglass did a great job of showing a very clear reflection. I would have liked to seen more of it. Your details and focus are tack-sharp. Nicely done! |
