I frequently replace the sky with one of my own from a sky file I collect. For me, it is creating art rather than documenting the scene. My husband and I have this conversation all the time! |

I like the pose and colors in this photo. I agree with David about the background and need for more light on her face. |

I have had several canvases by them. They do a nice job. I think this will look great. |

Thanks for the sugestion. I agree, the sky at the bottom of the window is too much of a pastel color. |

I agree about the saturation. Is this better? |

Wow! What a unique shot! The sky is amazing and your foreground has just enough detail and color to make it interesting but to support your sky and "comet" and not detract from them. An excellent image. |

I like what you did in post processing. It really brightens up the flower. You have great details in the center of the flower and the white petals. I also like your depth of field. I really like your cropping in for this composition. How fortunate you are to have this treasure nearby. I hope we see more of these flowers from you. |

Such a nice subject with a great composition in the frame. The curve of the water is so nice and brings me right into the scene. You were right to choose a vertical crop. I also like the swirls of water in the bottom left corner. Like David, I wonder how this looks in color. |

I would have never guessed that you used a sky replacement. You chose the perfect sky to compliment your image. Such a crisp and well focused shot. I agree with David about cropping the right side. I don't feel it adds anything to your image. Cropping it brings my attention to your focal point and I even notice the background cati more. I also added a slight vignette. |

I think this becomes street photography at its best. What a great shot. So nice and sharp with good details. You did an awesome job with your iphone. I like that the figure is placed in the center of the arch and in the center of the frame. Very symmetrical composition that works well. Overall, an exceptional and interesting image. I really like it! |

Oops! You have a good memory. Sorry for the repeat; I didn't remember I put it in before. You can see I took your advice, though. |

Interesting! Let us know what treasures you find recorded on that film. Just saw a report on NBC news last night that film cameras are making a come-back! |

I love rust and you have found an interesting subject. You have good focus and details and I like the coil shadow. For me, the background competes with the main subject. It seems a little too bright and busy. It is nicely blurred. Try darkening just the background. |

Nice details on this snake and I, too, like the curve. I agree with Tom's suggestion to crop some of the bottom, making it a tighter shot. |

A beautiful photo of a beautiful baby! The eyes really bring me into the scene. I like the softness and having the mother in the shot tells a story. I tried a vignette to accentuate the lighting. |

The focus, contrast and exposure are wonderful. There is no center of interest, but it doesn't matter to me in this image. I agree with Tom that a vignette would perhaps focus the eye on a focal point. |

The condensation and water patterns on the glass are very nice and I wonder how this would be if you zoomed in on just that. Like Nelson, I feel that the background is way too bright and not necessary for this shot. A black background layer would make the rest of it "pop". I also found the slice of lemon a little confusing. |
