Your bird photos have been excellent! You stopped the action well and caught the moment. Great details and clarity. I wouldn't change a thing! This would be a winner. |

I think the lines of the shadows are interesting. For my taste there is a little too much in the frame. I think you could crop the left half of the frame out. That would eliminate the brightness on the left, that pulls my eye from the shadows. I think this would look good in monochrome. |

Wow! Beautiful scene that is handled so well. I like the soft light and subtle colors. It sets a peaceful mood. Your depth of field and focus are perfect. This is ready for printing and framing. Love it! |

You did a nice job of bringing out just enough details in your post processing. It's an interesting scene with wonderful color in the sky. Nice capture. I don't have any suggestions for improvement. |

I love old buildings, too. You have wonderful details and lighting. I love the peeling paint, especially by the window. Your focus and exposure are spot-on. I actually like the color cast you have in your first processed image. It makes the mural the focal point and then my eye wanders around the rest of the frame. Nicely done! |

This is a well composed, well exposed night shot which has a lot of interest and a nice evening sky. You handled everything well. I like the colors and starburst in the lights. I have no suggestions for improvement. Well done! |

Thank you for your feedback. No, not a macro lens - taken at 75 mm focal length. |

I like these old boots and the stories they could tell. You have nice details and texture. If you have a chance to reshoot them, I suggest tasking them at a lower angle rather than looking down on them and perhaps on a different surface. Great subject! |

I like this in both monochrome and in color. In color, you have complimentary colors. It is really a nice capture, especially since you have their eyes. It is a little bright, but I like it that way. I love taking zootography! This is a nice one. |

This is a lovely scene and I like your decision to make it monochrome. I like the feeling of solitude. For my taste, this is a little dark. |

I like this much better in monochrome. The tonal range is very narrow in color, but in black and white, you were able to show more contrast. I like the simplicity and perspective. |

I like this very much. You have good textures and I find the irregularities in the slats of the shutters add much interest. I prefer the monochrome version, and like the centered composition. |

You have nice lines, and the leaf really stands out against the black background. Good details, too. Cropping in from the left would eliminate the light green areas which are a bit of a distraction for me. |

Welcome, Tom. I think this is a very nice image with awesome focus, especially on the bees. Both the bees and the flower are tack sharp. If I had one suggestion, it would be to tone down or darken the background a little. Well done! I am anxious to see more of your photos. |

I like the textures in this pattern shot. At first, I felt it needed a focal point, but the composition began to grow on me. The textures are nice. I opened it in Camera Raw and upped the clarity and brought down the highlights just a little. I think t gives it just a little more "punch". |

This is a unique, almost abstract shot. I like the swirl of motion you achieved, and I am impressed by the thought you put into your post-processing. This is a very different kind of shot for you and I think you should keep doing it! |

The details, exposure and colors are wonderful, and I like the blurred background very much. The tight crop is interesting. As Tom said, the partial petal in the lower left is a distraction as is the tip of orange showing in the upper left corner. |

I think this is my favorite photo of yours. I love the details, crop, color and lighting. Well done... and using a cell phone! You know what they say - the best camera is the one you have with you. |
