This is a wonderful landscape with beautiful colors. It is beautiful to look at and is sharp where it needs to be - good depth of field. I wouldn't change a thing. I really like it the way it is. |

I like the angle of the flower and the black background (I tend to darken my flower backgrounds, too.) The bright colors and contrast with the background give this image immediate impact. Your post processing brought out the details. |

The details are very sharp and lighting is so unusual. I absolutely love that we can see in the window to the light and objects inside. This is a very interesting capture and I would also love to see it in the daylight. You handled the nighttime lighting very well. |

Wow! Fantastic details. I love the tiny hairs - the lighting and details of them are great. I also like your crop, concentrating on the face and legs. The wings show just enough detail but your depth of field makes them the supporting feature rather than competing with the main focal point. Wonderful job! |

This photo shows a wonderful place and story. You have good details, nice colors and great reflections. I agree with David to clone out the musician in the center. He is not interacting with the others in the photo. Although the clothing on the photographer doesn't fit the scene for me, the interaction between him and the people on the boat gives him purpose and explains why the lady is looking that way. |

I cloned bricks from another part of the photo. |

I think this is a lovely image. I especially like the perspective and textures. The colors are quite nice, too. I tried what Mary suggested and cloned some of the lighter brick into the blown out space and added a little tonal contrast. Oh, and I cropped out the partial arch on the left. |

The monochrome version is so much more dramatic! You have great contrast and sharpness (needle pun not intended - LOL). Great capture. The only suggestion I have is to clone out the sign in the upper left corner. I hope you will be sharing more photos from inside the studio. |

This close up is very effective and almost an abstract. Congratulations for seing the artistic merit in something others might walk past. You have nice tones, details and exposure. I also like the color version very much (maybe even a little more!). |

I do like potraits with dramatic lighting and this is almost a Rembrant lighting. The brightest areas seems to be his midrift and right arm which draws my eye there instead of his face. I woud have liked to have seen the brightness a little more on his chest and face. You have great sharpness and nice textures behind him. For my taste, I like to see the eyes. The tones in the color version are very nice. |

I like the composition of the lilies cascading down with a gentle curve and it is reasonably sharp. I do think the color version has more impact, though. |

Great perspective in this colorful and interesting image. Love the low angle of the shot and the "light at the end of the tunnel". You have good details. The only thing that bothers me is the aberration/color distortion on the rail. |

A very nice rendering of the poppy and the lighting and complimentary colors are beautiful. I like the delicate curves of the petals and the blurred background. I like it as it is, but also think a little more detail in the red would look great. It's sometimes hard to maintain details in bright red. I added a little structure in the red, lowered the brightness and satutation a bit. You should look at the flower photography done by Kathleen Clemons. She has done some beautiful poppies, as well. |

This is a very nice, artistic rendering of the fungai. The colors are great and the shape of the fungai is so interesting and holds my attention. |

You have nice focus and a good array of colors. For my taste, the compostion is a little too static and disjointed. I would like to see the subjects grouped and without space between them. Also the large reflections in the cherries pull my eye there to see if it is you! |

You have great focus on the Skipper butterfly, but the softness of the center of the flower, especially by the butterfly dis a little distracting. I really like the soft background and shallow depth of field. I never would have thought of Infrared for this type of shot, but it works! Hope to see more infrared from you. |

I don't think the bee gets lost and you have good details on it, especially the wings. The soft focus of the center is distracting, so I think by cropping in closer and rotating the bee so the softness is in the background, it looks like it was intentional as a shallow depth of field choice. |
