I like your idea of filling the frame with the face. The green and orange colors are really highlighted this way. I like the changes that David made to the composition and might suggest adding a slight vignette to keep the eye in the center of the frame. The eyes are in good focus and draw me into the image. |

I like the sepia treatment you gave to this photo. You have nice details in the tree branches and I like the cemetery to the right. I think it gives it a sense of the surrounding environment. My only suggestion is to add a little more space around the tree if possible. It fells like its cropped a little too closely for my taste. |

This is a beautiful scene with such nice warm lighting. You have captured it nicely with the rays coming through the trees. I hope you are able to return for even more shots. Would love to see some close-ups of the Bluebells, as well. |

The dreary, rainy day really gave a mood to this photo and helped the trees to stand out without a distracting background. I like the graduated sizes of the trees and you have nice focus and details in the branches. For my taste, I would crop up from the bottom just a bit to crop out the flat stone with the bright reflection in the bottom left and also from the right to eliminate the stone wall in the lower right corner. I think the design of the wrought iron fence adds to your image and the design is a nice contrast to the branches. |

Wow! I am so impressed with all you are able to do with your post-processing in Photoshop. I think this is a marvelous image and would be a winner in competition. I like everything about it and do not have any suggestions for improvement. Excellent job! |

You handled the lighting and conditions very well. Although it is recommended by many to try to capture the photo when the sky still has a blue color, this image is quite nice and the reflections really make it special. It is a lovely scene and I like your composition very much. You might try to use the unsharp mask in Photoshop to make it just a little sharper. Nice job! |

Thank you for your kind words, Stephen. No, I did not tie it myself - I bought it! I looked at your photos and I really like your "rope art" and ability to tie the knots. |

Excellent shot! The car is so sharp and in focus. I like the monochrome very much and the only small suggestion I have is to add a slight vignette. I think this will do well in competition. Please let us know how it does. |

You have nice details, especially in the ropes and the sepia tone works so well here. I would suggest a slight vignette to keep the eye in the frame. Very interesting close-up. |

You have a very nice tonal range and wonderful details everywhere except the white centers of the cacti which are a little soft and slightly blown out. Compositionally, the two subjects (especially the white centers) compete and my eye jumps back and forth. I think it would be a stronger image to focus on the details of just one of them. |

I like the dramatic sky with the train. I see what Jessica is saying about the noise with the train - I bet Noise Reduction in Camera Raw could take care of that. Compositionally, I like the slight diagonal of the train in the original shot rather than the side view of your finished photo. |

Great capture with nice details and composition. I like the diagonal lines. My only suggestion is to darken the image some; it is a little bright for my taste. |

Very soft and delicate with a wonderfully blurred background. I really like the center petals of the flower and agree with Bob that the white side of the outer petals are a little bright and without details. Being so bright, they pull my eye there. I would suggest that you include the tip of the petal on the left or else crop in even more so it looks intentional. |

Love the vibrant colors in this creative image. The water drops look like they are floating! You have inspired me to try something different. I'd say your experimenting was a success. |

Nelson, I just love this photo! The background is wonderful. I really like the soft, pastel colors. You maintained just the right amount of sharpness/focus on the center of the flower and bee. This needs to be printed and framed and/or on a card. |
