Yes, I believe it was a church. I went inside, but it was bare except for an old chair. |

You captured a tender moment and the cub's eyes really pull me into your image. The colors are perfect. I like the cloning David did in your green background. It removes the distractions of the chain link fence. I'm not sure you meant to leave it like this, but you have an oval of light around the cub's head. |

You brought out a lot more detail in your processing and I like the composition. I agree with Don that a little more saturation, especially of the green, would help make it "pop" a little more. It's unfortunate that you have a bald sky, but you have to take what you get when visiting a site. This might also look good as a black and white image. |

What a capture! I don't think I've ever seen a shot like this. I like the blurred background and catchlight in his eye. The bird appears a little soft to me. I would have liked to have seen a little more texture and detail in his feathers. |

What a lovely blurred background! The soft pastel colors and lighting are wonderful, as well. I agree with the comments above that the two partial blossoms on the bottom distract from your main subject and I really wish you could have gotten a front view of the bee facing you. |

You did a great job stitching together this panorama. I like your complimentary colors and the shadow leads me right to the main subject of the tree. Everything is nice a sharp and crisp. To my eye, the trees on the sides are leaning in. I used the transform-skew edit in Photoshop to straighten them out and then decided to crop the left side so the tree was not so centered but still balanced by the orange leaves on the right. |

You do such a great job with night scenes. There is so much to like about this one - the starburst of light, the touch of green lit up on the right. I agree with the comments above that the lights on the ferry detract from the image since they are not as sharp, defined as the other lights. If you cloned it out, however, there would be a large negative space that I don't think would work either. Perhaps, your image is the right side of this frame. |

The curve of the water is great and leads me right into the scene and you have a wonderful sky. Since the small island is part of the reason you took the shot, in the monochrome version, I think it needs to be darkened so that it stands out from the water. |

I just love old ships like this! I like this in both color and monochrome. I like the textures and perspective of the ship. The sky is wonderful, however, in the monochrome version, I would reduce the noise/structure a bit. It looks just little gritty and unnatural. Otherwise, great image! It's cropped a little close, but you probably had to do that to avoid the other boats. I like it! |

I love that you have people in this image. They really show off the scale of the structure. Nice details, structure and depth of field. Everything is sharp and in focus. My suggestion is to add a little more contrast to make it "pop", darken the edges and crop out the sliver of sky at the top. |

Another nice David Price portrait. I love the direct stare of his eyes and his pursed lips. You fid the most interesting people and really show them off with your photographs. You have wonderful details and great clarity. Wish I could make portraits like you do. Excellent work! |

The little girl has a wonderful expression on her face. You have nice details and captured a cute moment. I think the photo could use a little more contrast. I find the position of the woman a little awkward. I believe she is taking a cell phone picture, but if you had moved a little to the left, you would have caught a side view of her with the phone more in sight and a little clearer telling of the story. I feel like I may have seen this before. |

Such an interesting close-up of shapes and angles and your main subject with the light center gives a great focal point to the image. For me, the bright red is too strong and distracting. I would prefer more subdued, subtle colors - but that's just personal preference. I think it would make an awesome monochrome. |

The caps have nice texture and good details. I have to agree with the others that the background doesn't go with your subject and kind of overpowers it. I think having them rest on leaves would make more sense to me. |

So festive! You didn't say that you adjusted the exposure and contrast in Photoshop, so I think your camera phone did a great job with that a difficult lighting situation. I especially like the green vertical streaks at the top. I agree with Marcela about the lighter rectangle ornament on the right. It drew my eye that way to see what it was. |

I really like the details and textures you have. I also like the circle on the tree trunk to the right. It mimics the circular designs of the fungi. The subtle colors are nice, as well. I would suggest cropping ang cloning to get rid of the triangle in the upper right corner and partial fungi in the upper right, as well as fill in the bright spot in the top middle area. Since the fungi are a little soft, I would think working it into an abstract might be a good idea. I'd love to see what you come up with. |

Lovely, rich colors and the blue really stands out to draw my attention to your focal point. You have great focus and details. I might suggest cropping down a little from the top since I don't think the details in the upper left add anything to your image. |
