Great idea, Charlie. I added some of the foreground flowers from Original 2 and like it. Thanks. |

I can load several photos if you want to send the original, monochrome version, etc. I don't think I submitted this before, however, I've had it for a while so...maybe?? If so, not on purpose. |

This is a quite striking flower image. The vibrant colors, crisp details and water drops make it special. Very nice against the stark black background. |

What a great shot of the sheep! You have great details and even catch-lights in his eyes. I like that you show the surrounding environment. I agree with the others about cloning out the pine trees if you are not putting this in a nature competition. If you are submitting it for nature, leave them in; the image is still great. Nice job! |

You caught the moment with reasonably good focus on the bee. I like the blurred background. I would suggest a slight vignette to keep the viewer's eye in the frame. |

An excellent shot with a wonderful foreground that leads me right into the scene. Love the reflection of the clouds in the water. You might consider increasing the contrast just a bit to really make it "pop". I have to agree with David that cropping down half of the sky would make it a stronger image, keeping my focus on the rest of the scene. |

Wow! What a sharp, crisp image with excellent tones. Your choice of monochrome is right. You have a good eye and have turned this ordinary scene into a winning photograph. I wouldn't change a thing. |

You have interesting lines and a good composition. I think it might have been a stronger image without the petal, just the waterdrop on the leaf. I would also like to see the whole frame in better focus. There are several areas where your sharpness falls off. |

I agree with David's changes. I like both the color and mono versions, but I wonder why you have the minion in there. I think you would have a nicer still life without it. Once the highlights are toned down, you have a nice tonal range. |

With David's changes, I think he makes it a stronger image. It is technically well done with nice details, but I think for it to place in PJ, there needs to be some interaction between the two people. I had to look closely to see if the woman was a mannequin or not. |

You have nice leading lines and textures in this image. I think the textures show up better in the monochrome version, but I love the soft shades in the color one, too. This is a nice capture either way. My only suggestion is to crop down halfway in the sky. I think it makes a stronger composition and the focus stays on the shore. The figure is nicely placed. |

I'm glad you gave it a go! This is a nice bird portrait with excellent details and a wonderful catch-light in the eye. It looks like you were standing right next to him. The color version is nice as well. The dark background really sets the bird off nicely. I like the green leaves in the color version, however, I find the leaves a little distracting in the monochrome background. It looks like this early bird didn't catch the worm next to it! |

I like the monochrome version best. Technically, very well done with nice details, exposure and clarity. I agree with David that it is a little tight in the frame and the lighthouse is leaning to the right a little. |

You have nice focus and good details. You filled the frame nicely with this subject. I would suggest that you apply a slight vignette to hold the viewer's eye in the frame. |

You have wonderful focus and clarity of the snail. Such an interesting pattern. Technically, perfectly handled. For some reason, I think I would rather have the snail without the bright petal. My eye seems to jump back and forth between the two subjects. I think this may make a great monochrome too. |

I love the texture and sharpness of the front seed pod and the backlighting of the hairs on the stem. The fact that the sharpness falls off on the back pod works fine in this image. The blurred green background really shows off your subject. If you are not going to use this for nature competition, I would suggest cloning out the left part of the stem up to where it joins the back pod. Nice work. |

Beautiful details, textures and colors in this abstract image. Don't really need to know what it is to enjoy it. Your composition is strong, as well. Nice job! |

What great focus and lighting. This could be a commercial shot in a magazine. Nice job and nicely framed. I wouldn't change a thing. |

The frog is nice and sharp with good exposure and contrast. It is framed nicely by the green moss. I think you could crop in significantly. Almost half of your frame (left side) is the out of focus rock that doesn't add anything to the image. Wish you could have snapped the photo front on so we could have seen his eyes. |
