I have always wanted to get a photo like this! The curve of his neck is so graceful and lovely. I like the dark background behind him which really shows of the vibrant color. I would like to see a little more detail in his feathers, if possible. Even with that said, you did a great job and I like it very much. |

I love the S-curve and all the beautiful building shapes and sizes. You have a great sky, as well. The right side has more contrast and saturation, but the line down the middle bothers me some. To the left of the line, the image has less contrast and vibrance. Maybe you could add that to just the left side. |

This image sets such a happy mood. You have nice details on the flowers and I love the bug on the leaf. I would suggest cropping out the sky at the top. It's brightness pulls my eye up and out of the frame. I think that would keep the focus right on the flowers. |

Beautiful, pastel colors. It does look like a Monet painting. It's very pleasing to look at and creative I like it very much. I would suggest cropping a little off the right to take away the three flowers since two are cut off and the left side is so nicely balanced. |

A very nice image with a great perspective. I like the colors and you have just enough detail on the tulip petals. I like what you did in your revised version without the trees. |

This is a nice panoramic scene with lots of interest. The clouds, mountains and trees all have good details and colors and the pop of color on the boat draws my eye to it and it is nicely placed in the scene. Well done. |

I used a layer mask in Camera Raw with the brightness slider and then used a low opacity dodge brush on the clouds. |

Thank you, Karl. I think a square crop would work! |

Nice tones and a great sky. You have good details and clarity. I thought it could use a little "pop", so I increased the contrast and I think it made the train stand out a little more. I also cropped in a little tighter. |

Interesting figure which looks great as a monochrome. Definitely the way to go here. I hope you don't mind, but I couldn't help trying a few things on it. Since I am, like most others, staying home during this pandemic, I've been trying to learn some new techniques. One of them is using the smudge tool in Photoshop. I find it creates a wonderful background with out having to try to mask out the subject and use a texture layer. I tried that here, then used Nik Color Efex Darken/Lighten Center filter and cloned in a touch of catch light in the eyes. |

I love old cars and this interior is very nice and shot at a good angle. Your tone gives it a vintage look. I agree with Chuck that you should try upping the contrast just a bit. I would also suggest that you give a little more space to the right so the steering wheel is not so close to the border. |

I really like the shadows and, for me, it makes the image. You have great clarity and details which enhance the textures. The bare tree branches to the right fill in the negative space and help to frame the scene nicely. I like the monochrome very much, but, for me, the color version is best because of the bland sky. I think the colors keep interest in the sky and I like the color tones. Either version is a winner. |

Great capture with good timing to catch the engine just as it is coming out of the overpass. The S curve of the tracks pulls me right in to the scene. The front of the engine is so crisp and focused. It looks like a wreath on the front which adds interest and perhaps a story for me. On my monitor, the top of the smoke looks very noisy and I would suggest darkening or cloning out the white railing on the right to keep my eye from being pulled to the bright spot it creates. |

You have great blacks, whites and mid tones in this image. I like that you left room for the ferry to move into which makes this a strong composition for me. Maybe it's because I'm going through a "dark sky phase", but I think darkening the sky really makes the ferry "pop". As far as interest, I wish there were people on the ferry so it would tell a story. |

I darkened it and then tried it in Monochrome. Do you like it better? |

I, too, have been using my stay-at-home time watching videos and webinars to learn new techniques. You have learned this technique very well. Nice job capturing the splash at such a good moment. It is a little different than many other splash photos I have seen. Nice job! I like the tones and glow. |

Love the colors and shallow depth of field. You have great details. What a beautiful way to preserve your family history. Adding the tip of a knitting needle by the wool ends may help tie the wool and sweater together. |

I like this very much and the shallow depth of field is very effective. Good choice of background; the small pops of color work so well and I like the close crop. Well done! |

Such an interesting shot and a good capture. I like the blurred background while keeping the main two leaves in the front sharp and in focus. On my monitor, there is quite a bit of noise and I wish the back of the caterpillar/worm (I don't know what it is either!) wasn't cut off. |

I am drawn right in to the bloom center which is your focal point. I like the blurred background very much. I think you could crop off some of the top of the frame to focus in even more on the detailed center. |
