Gee, thank you. I haven't entered it into competition yet, but may do so next year. |

Nice capture with lovely colors. I would agree with the other comments that the tall grass in front of the eye of the bird on the right should be cloned out and I would lighten the head and neck on the bird on the left. You have nicely blurred the background while keeping details in the foreground. |

I agree with the comments above. The nicely blurred background helps separate the jackal from the surroundings and you have handled the details of his fur very well. I also agree that it is too tightly cropped and could use more room on the left. I would suggest cropping up slightly from the bottom to get rid of some of the blurred rock. |

I really like David's crop and monochrome treatment. The monochrome highlights the wrinkles which look, to me, like a road map of life. Although I like the blue color, I feel it distracts my eye from her face. |

You have nice details and clarity. I agree with the others that the right side needs to be cropped some. I like Stuart's crop and Stephen's monochrome version. In the monochrome treatment, the tracks in the snow show up and add a little interest to the right side |

Wonderful portrait which is perfectly processed. Such an interesting subject with excellent clarity, lighting and contrast. I wouldn't change a thing! |

Excellent composition and an interesting image. The clouds add a lot of interest and moody feeling. The ship is perfectly placed and makes a great focal point. |

You have great contrast and focus. The trees make interesting shadows. If possible, I would try to clone out the cars in the background. |

Your monochrome conversion was very successful with nice focus. I wish the bottles were not on the right because they called my eye away from the fish. I would also suggest cloning out the bottom of the can in the top left. |

I, too, like both versions. You have nice details on the loon and have given it more room on the left which keeps it slightly off-center. My only suggestion is to crop a little off the bottom to just below the dark reflection. I don't think you need all that negative space. |

Love the mono version. Your perspective and luck in finding the magic number of 3 riders make this a very well composed image. I think it should do well in competition. Nice job! |

This street shot tells a wonderful story and is so well done technically. I love everything about it and wouldn't change a thing. Although the woman on the right is far from the other two, there is enough detail between them to keep them from seeming seperated. |

This is an interesting rock formation which makes a nice "frame within a frame". You have great details on the rock and the darkness of the trees separate them nicely from the rock. I think it would have more interest if there was somethin in the oval frame of the arch - a boat or bird. |

You are so fortunate to have this nest close by. You will have the opportunity to try many shots/settings. On my monitor, the image is very pixelated and bright. I would like to see more details on the bird and more contrast. As it is now, I feel like it appears flat. |

You have effectively created a work of art. The colors and composition are lovely. You might try softening it bit and see how you like it. |

You have very nice details and clarity in the flower and stem. The background is nicely blurred and really shows off the flower. I agree with Jessica to clone out the diagonal white line. If you have more in the original shot, I would like to see the tip of the top leaf on the right have a little room rather than a merger with the border. |

Orchids are so hard to photograph and keep all parts of the flower in focus. I like your stacking of the flowers, but the cropping is awkward, for me. The flowers seem too cramped in the frame. Try to darken the image a bit. I can see that you have details in the white, however, the white seems a little blown out. |
