When I said "merge", I didn't mean putting several photos together, I meant a "merge" when the birds overlap each other. I like the separation you were able to capture. |

Charlie, you have great clarity and focus on these moving birds. I also like that you have space between them. Merging of birds is sometimes hard to avoid when they are in a flock. The sky is nice without being too busy and distracting and the color of your foliage at the bottom really complements the birds. Some strict rule followers might point out that it is more interesting to have an odd number. If you feel this way, you could crop out the bird on the right. But then again, rules are meant to be broken! All in all, nice job. |

You have a pleasing repetition of lines and shapes. As to post-processing possibilities, you may want to darken it some, add detail/texture and clone the navy color into the white spots which are a distraction to the spoons. I would also suggest cropping the right side to the shadow line on the spoon. You could also go in an abstract direction with Topaz Glow or some other filter. You have a knack of finding subject that others would just pass by. |

I like the contrast of the fluffy part of the feather at the top and the straight lines at the bottom of the feather. You handled the white very well. There are no blown out areas. The diagonal curve adds interest. The details are very good, except at the bottom of the feather where the focus falls off. |

What an interesting photo which you have done a terrific job of transforming into being outstanding. The leading lines and bright light lead my eye right through the scene. It tells a mysterious story. I wouldn't change a thing! Great work. |

This is a great image. Beautifully captured and beautifully processed. The colors are wonderful and rich. The depth of field is good and gives real perspective to the scene. The clouds are awesome! This is a real winner! Nicely done. |

I like the clarity and contrast of both versions. Although the monochrome image is strong, like Lorna, I prefer the color version. The primary colors against the black are very pleasing. |

You have very nice details, especially in the talons. Although the details in the feathers are nice, I think that the powerful attack posture is the main focus and the title should reflect that instead. I agree with Lorna that a darker background would help the eagle stand out more. |

I also like the monochrome version better. The details and smooth flow of the water show up better without color. I like that you maintained some details in the water. The lighter foliage along the stream nicely frame it. |

This is wonderful! You have shown so much character with your great details. A winner for sure! At first, I wanted the eyes a little brighter, but looking at the original, they are dark there, too. The mouth looks fine to me. My only suggestion is to maybe crop even tighter on the left and top to eliminate the triangle of light in the upper left. |

This makes a wonderful monochrome. You have great details and interesting subject. I just love old rusty cars and you did this one justice. Very nice job. One small nit-pick - I wish all of the tires were showing. |
