Welcome to the group, John. This is a really well done cityscape. Your details and exposure are wonderful. I agree that the man adds scale and interest to your image. The diagonal lines of the water structure and bushes add interest, as well. I would love to see it when the water is turned on. |

It's a great place to shoot. I agree with Richard, that the softness of the left side is a distraction. I, too, wish you had shot several exposures and merged it into HDR because you might have been able to preserve some detail in the sky. The rock on the right side is wonderfully sharp and in focus. |

I like the composition very much and the catchlight in his eye is wonderful. Probably because you cropped in so much and all the adjustments you made so that the noise was eliminated, the bird has a flat, illustration look which I would suggest you take even further and get even more creative with it. |

You have wonderful contrast, colors and details. I like that the water in the foreground is so sharp and clear and then falls off to a softer look behind the birds. That really separates the ducks from the background. The only thing that would have made the image stronger, for me, is if the female duck in the back was looking up, mirroring the profile of the male duck. If you took several shots, you may have one like that. |

You captured the soft, delicate features of the tulips - my favorite flowers. I like the colors together very much. There appears to be some pixilation and blown out highlights on the pink tulips in the bottom row of your image. I wish there was a focal point where I could rest my eye. |

We both submitted horse pics this month, featuring teeth! This is a really fun image and I like the tight crop. You have great details and did a good job controlling the exposure on a very sunny day. My only suggestion is to try darkening down the background. |

In my opinion, the composition is much stronger now. |

I really like the sky and the building reflection in the water on the sidewalk. To me, the rest of it seems really over sharpened and "crunchy". This gives it a flat look. I think you could crop off the just to the right of the flag pole, thus eliminating the two cars which add nothing to the image. For me, there just isn't much interest in the scene. Sorry. |

Excellent Architectural photography which is technically and compositionally perfect. I like everything about it and can't think of anything that needs to be changed. Wonderful job! |

Another great image; this time street photography. I like all the details and the gesture of her right foot; raised so we can tell she was walking. I also like that her eyes are fixed on you. Technically, perfectly executed. This time, I have to say that while the monochrome is excellent, I prefer the color version because of the rich colors in all the fabric she has. |

You have great perspective in this shot and the dead center composition works for me. I especially like the small person at the end of the path which gives my eye something to rest on when you lead me down that path. Your contrast and focus are both very good. I find the white house on the left to be a distraction. It could easily be cloned out. After saying all that, I have to say I think I like the color version best, mainly because of the sky. |

You did a beautiful job. The branch and buds are tack-sharp and the background is nicely blurred and really shows off your subject. I might suggest cropping some off the right side, but that's just a matter of taste. |

I like everything about this: the details of the main flower, the blurred background and the colors. The one sharp flower is a nice focal point. Well done! |

The details of the food are wonderful and the side light is lovely. I don't think you need a polarizing filter. The textures and colors are great as well. My only, very small suggestion is to clone out the bright spots on the bottom of the glass. |

My only suggestion is to try to tone down the two large bright spots on the two large pearl buttons. They seem blown-out to me. |

The bud is so sharp and clear. The colors are beautiful. The background is a little light and distracting. I agree with Laurie that you can crop from the right side. |
