Very nice nightscape with good clarity. Your reflections are great and you have an interesting sky which you caught in the blue hour before it turned black. My only very minor suggestion is to crop a little off the right. Nice job! |

Nice nature capture. You have done a nice job of preserving the details of the feathers and achieving separation of the cranes from the background, especially since the color tones are so similar. |

The contrast of light on the man's face is very interesting. Your monochrome images have such nice clarity and tones. I like that you capture scenes that most would walk by without noticing. I would suggest cropping the lady out of the scene and leaving just the man. I don't think she adds anything and he is the subject. |

You have wonderful details in the leaf, skunk cabbage and ice. I especially like that I can see the leaves under the ice. I also like that your background is nicely blurred. I agree with Don on the straightening and cropping. The far left side doesn't add anything to your image. If it doesn't add anything, I would eliminate it. Also, I see in your original that you have the entire leaf in the water. I would have included it and not cropped half of it off. The contrast of the dead leaf and the green skunk cabbage tells a nature story. |

You have a very nice range of tones and details. I like the shadows and line designs very much. For me, it is cropped a little too tight. I would like to see a little more on the top and bottom. I would also try to straighten the skew on the far right so the column is not leaning. |

This tells a great story and you did a good job trying to minimize the busy background. Unfortunately, the bright light is distracting, but there is not much you could do about it. I would suggest that you erase the background filter off his nose and eye glasses. |

A very clean image that works so well in monochrome. The placement of the train on the tracks is just right. and you have good details. You might consider cropping the sky to just above the sign, making it more of a panel. |

Technically well done and it works well in monochrome. You have nice tones and details. I might suggest you try to clone out the figure behind her or use a layer mask to replace the background. As for the story telling aspect of this image, I might have liked to have seen more of the environment around her, |

What great placement of the photographer. You had good timing. This is so interesting and well done. My only very small suggestion is to clone out the floor on the bottom right. I hope you enter this in competition. It's unique and a winner. |

I think you might increase the contrast to give it a little more "pop" similar to what Chuck did in his feedback. I really see 3 different images in this photo. The main subjects are spread out in this frame and I am not sure where you want me to focus. |

I like the soft tones of the cactus and think that the square crop fits it very well. I like the white worn wood for a background and would like it extended all the way to the edges of the frame. Maybe you can clone it to do that. The stem doesn't look like it belongs. |

Thank you, Marcela. Yes, the feathers were on a table and my camera above. Since the camera was on a tripod and I had a cable release, I would start at ISO 400 and increase it if necessary. Hand-holding, probably start at 1000 and increase if necessary. |

Good details in the foreground and your shallow depth of field works here. I would suggest cloning the top left corner with the white table cloth. By the way, it looks delicious! |

Before I read your title, I thought this was a photo of ice on a pond. This is a very effective abstract with wonderful details and tones of color. I wouldn't change a thing. I hope you enter it in competition. |

I like the monochrome version the best. For me, the water droplets show up much better and they make the image. The flower seems a little soft, I wish there was a little more detail. I would suggest darkening the background to make the flower "pop". |
