This is a lovely image with very graceful lines and superb lighting. I like the black background and the simplicity of the composition. |

A very simple and straight forward image. I find myself fascinated by palm fronds, too. Even though it is centered, I think the lean of the folds to the right keeps the composition from appearing static. I like the lines and lighting, too. |

I really like your street photography and you captured the moment here. Your monochrome images are crisp and sharp with excellent contrast. Technically, this is an awesome image (as was last month's). My only suggestion is to crop out the man on the far right. His leg is already cropped off. |

A nice nature story. It almost seems as if the pelican is calling to the geese. I like nature pictures with fog and you have a good composition in this image. As Ray suggested, I think it would help to add more contrast to bring the birds out a little more. |

The colors compliment each other very well and the clarity is very good. There are a lot of lines and I am not sure where to focus, except my eye gets pulled to the bright light on the wall. Maybe monochrome (as you suggested) or cropping to a smaller area would help. |

This image tells a wonderful story. The details and texture of both the cub and mother's fur are wonderful. You even have a catch-light in the cubs eyes. In a perfect world, the mother's face would have been great. Excellent job. |

I like the sharpness and clarity of your main building and I like that it is off-center. The sky is handled very well and the clouds add interest. My only suggestion is to darken the lower right corner. Well done! |

This is a really good and interesting idea for a photo. You have good focus and after reading Chuck's comment, I do find my eye going back and forth between the cylinders and the decal because the cylinders have such great details and lighting. Maybe darkening the bottom of the photo would highlight what I think you want to be the focal point - the decals. I might also suggest cropping some of the left so the word Indian is cropped out. It is a distraction for me. |

Great shot! Your image is very crisp with good contrast. I like his facial expression and the gestures of his hands. The the netting is captured with good detail and the top of it shows movement. Your tight crop really focuses my attention on the man's face. I like the color version just as much, too. I don't have any suggestions for improvement. |

I like Jeffrey's sharpened version. I think I may like the color version a little more. You might also think about a tighter crop that places the flower off center and focuses on the center more. |

Like David, I love your idea. I very much like the smooth shiny coins in contrast to the denim textures. I have to agree with David about having a third of your image out of focus. It is distracting for me. I'd love to see the image that is sharp overall. |

I love old doors and took quite a few doors on my recent Danube River Cruise. This is certainly an interesting one with great design and textures surrounding it. The symmetrical composition works well. You have nice details on the door itself. |

I like the flip because, the main subject is on the right and my eye travels from left to right (like reading) through the entire image. I also think that monochrome was the right choice. The front two riders are nice and sharp and the dust surrounding the back rider gives the image great depth of field. I wouldn't change a thing. I think this is a winner. |

Nice shapes, designs and colors. I wonder how it would look with an extreme crop for just a section of the button making it a real abstract. |

Wonderful shot with great clarity. The eye is beautiful I like the crop. I have been seeing quite a few portraits cropped like this. I should try it soon. |

A great nature shot. You did a good job capturing him with the berry in his mouth. Love the colors, too. I think, you need to touch up the area right below the bottom twig on the left. This would make a great card. |

I didn't, but I think for this image, a centered composition might work. Thanks for the suggestion. |

You have nice details, exposure and color in this image. I'm not sure the composition works for me. It looks like the petals were just cut-off on three sides. I think a closer crop of the center or an off-center composition would make it a stronger image. |
