I really like the peaceful, solitary feel of this image. You did a nice job with the fog and with the depth of field. The ship in front is very sharp and the others drop off nicely. The only minor suggestion I have is to crop a little off the top or bottom to move the horizon a little more off-center. Nice job! |

A very nice, nostalgic image with good details. The old Victrola is the focal point for me and is placed slightly off-center for a nice composition. |

Your flowers are nicely in-focus and crisp with great color. I agree with Don, and suggest that you crop out the left of the frame and keep the focus on the flowers on the right. The shadows on the main flowers and the bright green in the background do distract me some. |

I really like the dream-like look you achieved. Quite a different style for you! The soft colors are very pretty, as well. |

I think your composition is good and the blurred background is nice. The bottom left half is a little too bright for my taste. I would have liked to have seen more details in the two right tulips. As it is, only 1/3 of your image is in focus. I feel like that would work if the in-focus tulip was in the center. |

The eagle statue looks powerful against the clouds. I wish the merge of his dipped wing and the ground wasn't there. I think if you had taken this shot at a lower angle with a minimal amount of landscape it would have been stronger. The stone shelter to the left is distracting and I would consider cloning it out. |

So simple, yet really appealing. Your foreground detail is great. My only small suggestion is to crop some of the sky. Congratulations on your acceptances. |

The winding foot bridge is a wonderful way to lead my eye into the frame. This image gives me a peaceful feeling of solitude in nature. I also like the mono version better, but I would add just a little more detail into it. I like the "glow" effect, I just think it is a little too much. I like the break in the foliage at the top and would accentuate the light even more and crop a little off the left so that the foot ridge and light are not so center. |

Love the leading line of the water which ends a little off-center; making for a nice composition. I like the cloudy/misty look at the horizon. You could add a little more detail to the trees, and I might even remove a little detail from the water to make it even smoother. I would consider cloning in a small sailboat in the distance if you have one from another image. It would be a nice focal point after my eye travels down the water to the horizon. |

Such a simple, but interesting image. I like the sepia tone you used. You handled the lighting well. I am not sure that I would keep the window on the right as suggested above. I think it would have pulled my eye from the focal point light source. I would suggest removing the light line on the left, as David suggested, as it almost looks like a neon light strip, thus taking away from the old-time feel. I also would suggest straightening the corner of the room (I used PS Transform - Skew and cropping in closer. |

You handled the challenging lighting very well. You have superb details (as usual!) and wonderful exposure which keeps the white shirt from being blown-out. Your composition and interest are strong for this image. You find the most interesting subjects. I think that monochrome was definitely the way to go for this photo. It conveys a mood and nostalgia and the light green is a little bit of a distraction in the color version. Great job! |

Your details on the bee (especially the wings) are great, as is your blurred background. I like the diagonal curve of the flower stem. Really nice job. Can't wait to see your focus stacking. I have not tried it yet. |

Excellent shot! I also think you chose the right image. I love the curves and simplicity of the image. I think the bug is in just the right place in this composition. The slight bokeh effect in the background is subtle, but adds interest to the overall look, plus the colors are wonderful. Nice job! |

I really like this shot and his intense eyes. The gold color of his eyes are really captivating. Great details and a nice crop with a straight-on pose that works. My only suggestion is to darken the background to really make him "pop". Love it!
Hope you don't mind, but I couldn't help trying to put a textured background on it for a fine art look. |

I think this is a great idea for presenting the succulents in an original way. The grainy appearance of the succulents bother me some since they are usually vey smooth and plump looking. The light wood in the lower right corner could be darkened down a bit to keep from pulling my eye out of the frame. The bright white sun spots to the left of center, unfortunately, pull my eye right to them, taking me away from your main subject. |
