45 Mar 18 Reply I never heard of that app. I'll look into it. Mar 12th
45 Mar 18 Comment Wonderful detail while still maintaining the softness of the petals. I have the hardest time keeping the stigma and style (had to look that up!) in focus as well as the deep center. Excellent focus in this shot and I like your close, symmetrical crop. I do, however, wish that the bottom curve of the styles showed. Mar 11th
45 Mar 18 Comment I like that you got down low because that perspective makes the nicely framed head at eye level. A very unique and interesting shot with great sharpness and color. I like it. Mar 11th
45 Mar 18 Comment The colors, contrast and clarity are all well done and you caught the evening at the perfect "blue sky" time. There is, however, so much sky that I wonder if there is where you want me to look because the vastness of it pulls my eye from the fence. If that is a butte in the background, another neat shot might have been framing the butte through the gate with cowgirl statue. Mar 11th
45 Mar 18 Comment Great foreground, mid-ground and background. The detail in the foreground is very good and I like the colors, as well. I agree with Don that the framing by the trees makes a strong composition. Nice landscape - well done. Mar 11th
45 Mar 18 Comment I like the leading soft lines that draw me into the scene. You did an excellent job of maintaining detail in the white snow. I would suggest cropping off some of the right since there is nothing of particular interest there. However, not too much so that you keep the expansive look. Mar 11th

50 Mar 18 Comment I think that keeping the foreground adds depth to this wonderful landscape. Very nice focus and details. I agree with Jeffrey about toning done the sepia tint and with Gordon about darkening down the foreground. Mar 11th
50 Mar 18 Reply Thank you to your wife, but I need to side with you on this. Now that I have seen the horizontal flip, I like it better. Mar 11th
50 Mar 18 Comment Like the magic # 3 riders! You did an awesome job (as usual) of stopping the action with all three riders airborne with great detail. I would suggest simplifying the background as I find my eye being pulled to the man in the upper left, vertical white stakes, trailer and the white rock or sack to the right. By cloning them all out, my eye would stay on the riders. Mar 11th
50 Mar 18 Comment A good peaceful, moody image. I like the simple composition and the glow of the closest boat. I can almost hear the frogs and crickets! I would clone out the star reflections to keep the simplicity and "clean" effect. Very nice, indeed. Mar 11th
50 Mar 18 Comment Love the monochrome in this simple yet impactful image. The composition is enhanced by the triangle formed by the two trees and clump of twigs in the foreground. I would clone out the other two twigs to reinforced the triangle composition. Nice job keeping the white from being "blown out". You kept good detail. Mar 11th
50 Mar 18 Comment I like the mono version the best. I usually like the buildings straightened, but in this case, the tilt seems deliberate and creates interest and tension in the frame. I agree with Chuck that removing the name (for several reasons!!! LOL!) would keep my eye from being pulled from following the building to the sky. The reflection of the dark building on the lower right really anchors this shot. You could try just a little more contrast and see what that does. Nice shot. Mar 11th

57 Mar 18 Comment The water drops on the flower on the right were the focal points for me and they are in good focus. However, your focus falls off on the flower to the left. I think you need a bug or something on the flower to the right to give it stronger interest. Mar 11th
57 Mar 18 Comment Such a unique, interesting and poignant subject. I think the lighting is lovely and just right for the mood of this image. The gesture of her hand is particularly beautiful. I think you have done a wonderful job for her and she will love it. This is very touching for me as I lost a granddaughter shortly after her birth several years ago and my heart goes out to her. Hopefully, your tribute photo will bring her comfort. Mar 11th
57 Mar 18 Comment The contrast of the soft colorful flowers and the hard monochrome toned sand is very interesting. I wish you had turned the flower on the right over to make it a strong focal point for the image. I would suggest darkening/vignetting he edges slightly to help keep the eye in the frame. Mar 11th
57 Mar 18 Comment Nice details while keeping the softness of the petals. I would like a focal point though - perhaps making the flower in the middle right be the brighter one rather than the top one which tends to pull my eye out of the frame. There seems to be an overall greenish tint to the image and I wonder if a monochrome treatment may be the way to go for this. Mar 11th
