The cell phone light does bring a human interest element to your photo, however, at least for me, it temporarily drew my eye from the moon. |

You have wonderful colors here and did a nice job separating the flowers from the background. The flowers and buds in the foreground are nicely in focus. You may want to crop some off the right side so the flowers aren't centered. |

I really like your photo. Looks like you took it at just the right time of the evening with such a great, dark blue sky. Your moon shot is wonderful and really enhances this image. I also like, that although the overall feeling is of darkness, the figures maintain detail and are more than silhouettes. My eye does tend to jump back and forth between the two groups of people, so I tried cropping out those on the far right and selecting, copying and pasting the moon and the reflection. I also cloned out the bright spot of her cell phone. |

You have a strong composition with the focal point well off-center. The shore line and triangle of the reflections really lead my eye into the scene. In my feedback, I tried flipping it since we read from left to right and I thought it was a little stronger leading the eye in from the left. I also lightened and added more "structure"/detail to the trees at the base of the mountains. |

The pattern of ripples in the water and the green reflections in the lower left are very nice. Although we can't see details of the duck, I am not sure that is your focus, but rather the pattern of the larger scene. I would suggest that you crop the right third of the photo to make the duck off center and to eliminate "dead space" that doesn't really add much to your scene. |

I love shots like this. You did a nice job pulling out the details and textures; and the colors (blue and orange) are complimentary and very appealing. The leading lines on the right, lead me right into the scene. What really makes this image is the lighting which gives it an abandoned, gloomy feel. Nice job! |

You did a good job removing the distractions in the background and you have good lighting. The catch-light in the eyes really draws my attention there. You may want to clone out the bright white dot by the nose of the larger frog. To my eye, you have lost some of the detail around the mouth of the smaller frog. |

Jeffrey, I like this version, especially with the sun showing. It helps balance it. |

Great portrait and I love that you kept the environment in your image. Great details and lighting. My only suggestion is a tighter crop; cropping out the door to the left and the ceiling lights (their brightness pulls my eye upward). I hope you gave him a copy of this! |

I don't think this is the same shot as what you have shown as the original. That being said, this is a great architecture shot. You did a great job with maintaining details and your building lines look fairly straight. I might suggest a little more contrast on the building and a little less contrast in the sky. The birds are a nice touch. |

I can't decide if I like the color or monochrome version best. I love them both. This is my kind of image. You have done a great job bringing out the details and the sky is a real bonus to the overall look and feel. I wouldn't change a thing. Excellent work! |

Such a great moody, eerie image. The bird is nicely placed at a crash point. I can't think of a thing to improve it except to crop just a little (not too much!) off the top. |

Wonderful "stop action" shot. I love that all three riders are at a different stage of action. Your composition, details and exposure are all excellent. This is a wonderful image and I believe a photojournalism winner. |

I like the dark background and the details in the center of the flower. I would like to see just a little more detail in the petals. |

Yes, I bracketed 3 exposures (I have never tried stacking). I find it brings out the details. |

Wow! This is awesome! Your reflections are so clear and the diagonal line of the stem adds interest, as well. I like yur blurred background, but I agree with Jessica that it is a little noisy. You went through a lot, per your description, to get this hot and it paid off. Very interesting! |

Spectacular in every way. I love the details, exposure and textures. The reflections in the circles are wonderful. My only very minor suggestion is to crop the top and bottom so as to remove the half circles. Otherwise, a very strong nature image that should do well in competition. |

I find orchids hard to shoot. You did a good job without a tripod. Your details are good from front to back on the orchids and your lighting is very nice. Your dark background really helps show off the flowers. There does seem to be some sort of a halo around several of the petals. |

Absolutely love the colors and shapes. The processing you did is wonderful and gives it a vibrant, crisp, clean look. My only, very minor, suggestion is to get rid of the small white flowers in the upper right by either cloning or cropping They tend to bring my eye up there. Great job!
