Thank you, Richard. I printed it on fine art paper and hung it in my kitchen! |

Very nice pose, composition and reflection. You may want to clone out a few of the dark spots in the water. |

A very lovely scene, which does resemble a European village. Your details and composition are excellent. My only suggestion is to increase the contrast slightly to give it more depth. Nice job! |

Found art! Congrats for seeing it. Details and clarity are great and I like it in monochrome. The composition works well even though you didn't consciously plan it. |

I had my camera set to automatic ISO. I have since changed it. |

Thank you, Karl. I haven't submitted this yet (Kathy was talking about a different image), but I hope your comment is a good omen! |

This scene works well in monochrome. The snow has maintained detail with the exception of one small area (beneath and slightly to the right of the stop sign) which is a little blown out, but can easily be cloned to fix. You have great tonality and the sky is wonderful, adding interest. |

Another great skating shot! I really like the monochrome better than the color version. You are wonderful at panning (something I have never been able to do). The image conveys motion while your subject is very sharp with just a hint of movement in the right skate. Very nice job. |

Interesting street shot. The shadow adds interest and your brick background has great character. I might suggest a little closer crop (but not too close). The stop sign pulls my eye away from the subject. |

Your monochrome choice for this image works very well. It's a great portrait with wonderful exposure and clarity. You even have catch-lights in their eyes. Can't think of anything to improve it. |

I really like this image. Your dodging and burning worked well. You ended up with a great shot in what looks like mid-day, judging from the shadow. I like that you gave the ball room to move into and the shadow of the pitcher adds interest. Your shot is without distractions in the background which is sometimes hard to do in baseball pics. My only very small suggestion is to give it a slight darker vignette to help keep the eye in the image. |

Great macro shot! Your depth of field is very good. The details of the caterpillar are excellent, except for the tuft of hair on the left. I have never seen a shot like this. |

The details of the butterflies and the moss have nice detail and the image has interest. I find the background noisy on my monitor. |

I think you have a good idea, but I am not sure where you want me to look. When I look at the bright spot in the middle (which immediately draws my eye) I really don't have a focal point of interest. I yellow flame might have done it. The glow outside of the lantern is appealing, but i would like to see more details on the top an bottom of the lantern. |

The detail on the center of the flower is great. I can even see the pollen. A couple of the petals on the lower right are a little soft. I think a closer crop would both make it a stronger image and eliminate the soft petals. |

The body and left wings are very sharp, but the right wings are soft - movement? For me, the the white stalks in the background are detracting from your subject. I do like the blue color, however. |

I like the cascading of the orchids, but wonder if a more diagonal angle may add interest. I agree with Marcela's comments about the partial petals. And, unfortunately, I think you are right about "too white". I would have liked some detail to have shown in the petals. |
