A BEAUTIFULLY GRACEFUL, TACK SHARP IMAGE, LORNA. RICHARD HAS COVERED EVERYTHING THAT POPPED INTO MY MIND WHEN VIEWING THIS. THE CROP ADDRESSES THE 'EDGES' ISSUE. |

GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR 'DEAD SPOT-ON' SUGGESTIONS AND THE TIME YOU TOOK FOR THE RE-POST. AND, MURPHY'S RIGHT ABOUT THE LENS. HAD NO INTENTION OF DOING MACRO THAT DAY AND WAS USING EQUIPMENT I KEEP IN THE CAR AT ALL TIMES. IT'S NOT THE BEST BUT IT'S ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND IT'S NO BIG LOSS IF IT GETS STOLEN. I'M A BROOKLYN NY BOY AND THAT TYPE OF THINKING IS PART OF MY DNA.
THANKS GUYS, STAY WELL! |

Again, ditto Murphy's comment, Priscilla. This is one of my wife's, Rosemary, favorites. She's taken hundreds of floral photos with her Iphone and each year she selects the best of the best and has calendars printed that she sends to family members as a "stocking stuffer" |

Very appealing image, Barbara. The DOF you achieved at f/4 is impressive. I found myself staring too long at the top right of your image, trying to decide what the horizontal green and tan pattern was? And, I apologize for that comment absent a suggestion; just didn't have one. |

Hello Murphy! I agree with everything Priscilla and Barbara have said; beautiful. Adding my two cents, suggest blackening out the two stems at the very bottom; they distract a tad from your main subject. The top of your image appears a bit overexposed. Would changing the angle of the reflector be useful? On the other hand, it does help emphasize the budding flower on the left, |

GOOD ONE!!! Totally agree with Barbara's & Murphy's comments. BTW, removing the legs didn't bother me at all. After all, the 'eyes' were nicely focused. |

Hmm! Tastes like asparagus. My eye immediately focused on the top 2/3 of your image so the slight softness at the bottom did not distract or bother me. The vignette did a very nice job of keeping my eyes focused on the subject of the image so the minor softness below was inconsequential. Vignette also provided more eye appeal to the out of focus background, which in turn, provided a non-distracting background and better appreciation of your subject. |
