Graceful and sharp macro image; beautiful and complimentary colors throughout. I carry a small, sharp pruning tool with me when doing this type of macro to clip out background distractions (only in my own garden or open forest lands). Enjoyed revisiting this, Bill. |

Very pleasing image, Ginger. Agree with Carol regarding the crop. See what you think about sharpening the edges just a tad; may make the interesting colors and shapes in the center of the flower pop out even more. |

GREAT shot, Bill. The details, colors, and composition are superb. Would not have thought about using a flash for this. Thanks, will give it a try. Ugly Hedgehog usually has a few good insights. You just have to ignore the Hatfield & McCoy battles the pop up frequently. |

You achieved your etherial objective, Carol. Frequently when I export my images from Aperture, the .jpeg color and exposure components change. Try exporting your image as a .jpeg onto your desktop then click on it and select "Tools" then make contrast reduction and increase sharpness a tad. ??? It's a peaceful mood setter. |
