Didn't think f7.1 could produce the DOF sharpness you achieved - lesson learned. Thanks, Denise |

There were interesting but very small features one the fruit that I thought would be best captured by a very small aperture. Used the high shutter speed to offset my less than steady hand. Had read that the ISO on the 810 could be pushed to 6400 with negligible effect. Have reset the camera to a maximum ISO of 1600. Have found tilting has a double effect - giving the subject a more appealing angle of view while simultaneously cropping it. |

Denise,
Beautifully interesting picture. Super sharp, great DOF, realistic colors. From a learning perspective, would have liked to see what settings you used. |

Hi, Bill
Can't add anything to what Carol has said. Stay safe! |

This is a WOW, Bill. Your background for this image is superb; how did you manage that. The detailed sharpness throughout makes this a prize winner. I looked several times at the grey band Carol mentioned. I think it has a very natural appearance; bringing up the colors might lose some details ??? |

The graceful flow and color shades of the petals, the complimentary colors, and the sharpness as evidenced by the many specs of pollen on the petals, and your perfect centering all combined to make this a most appealing 'drama'. Very nicely done, Carol.
