Have nothing to add to the suggestions everyone has provided. Always find your subject interesting and whenever coming across a stump like this, stop to count the rings to see who's older, the tree or me. Still count the rings but stopped the comparison.

Initially felt the image was a tad soft, except for the bottom at 6 o'clock. The longer I looked at the composition of your image, the more appealing it became.
