Nothing I can add - the white frame does keep the eye focused on your very interesting image. All your setup and setting efforts were well worth it. |

The colors, tonal qualities, and sharpness are superb. Would a slightly shorter (wider) focal length have enabled you to capture the entire plant without picking up any distractions? That's tough to do at Longwood. Enjoyed this. |

Perhaps I was still thinking of Carol's snake and when I pulled this up and thought the bolt was an eye - but couldn't figure out the rest of it. And that's without my evening martini. Agree with the comments about the upper right distraction. In lieu of a crop, converting the image to B&W, blackening, and sharpening might work. I never would have thought of taking this - thanks for the idea! |

As a long time camper, I never take my eye off a snake. This one really got my full attention. Perhaps a higher f stop would have both darkened it a bit and given more DOF. Eye like it!! |
