I like the composition, and I love the colors of the flowers - make me think of fire or of the red hot lava flow from a volcano. The left side is so dark, that it has no detail - perhaps do as Cindy mentioned with Nik Viveza or crop out the darkest portions; but then it would alter your composition so that the flower would be centered. They must have been like rays of sun in the desert that time of the year! |

Good idea for a golfing senior's photos. The background does bother me - would like to see it moved to a different background. I see that you tried using a shallow depth of field to blur it, and I think you could have gone even more shallow to drop the background out, but then the ring and ball may not be as sharp as they are. Try it again - really good thinking for the shot! |

Nice that you could make your bouquet gift of lilies into a beautiful piece of art! I love the flowers on the black background and thanks for sharing your processing steps. |

Photographers usually allow for centered flowers, but I do prefer the off center middles too. Your image that Cincy corrected takes care of the almost blown out green leaf and the centering issue too. I can see why you were moved to take this - the colors and textures. Thanks for sharing it! |
