Very interesting project and as Lynne said beyond my skill level or aspirations. To me the man looks like he was actually in the original image. But his hand positions do make one wonder…. Great job inserting the man in the image and making him look natural. |

I'm not sure how you would fix one small area without effecting the whole image. |

Great action shot and love all the foam with some of it flying into the air and the gulls wing action. Sorry to hear it had an injured leg. Were you shooting on a fast speed or in "live" which may just be an iPhone action? |

What an interesting tree and nicely composed to show the arch, eye or smile. I'm wondering what it would look like in B&W. I might even think about cropping as a panorama (cropping up from the bottom) to accentuate the arch. |

I think your choice to convert to B&W was a good one. I find the color version uninspiring. To me some of the trees look straight while others are leaning. Maybe some of the trees are wind blown. |

I like both images for the vastly different emotions they create. Your watercolor version is very soothing and one that I would hang on my wall. I love that you try so many different apps. I don't have enough memory on my phone for the apps I have. Maybe that should tell me to off load some more images. Well done. |

Welcome, hope you are ok after your fall. A great abstract shot that makes one stop and ponder what the subject is. Interesting squares and triangles with lines leading in all directions. Monochrome was a great choice. |

Thanks Sharon. I will go back and work on the middle and foreground sections. |

This is a beautiful image representing the vegetation in the bayous. I think your crop and post processing is spot on by putting the focus on the flowers against the cypress tree. I wouldn't change a thing. Well done! |

You must have a large beautiful garden. I feel you have succeed in making a dreamy high key representation of this flower. I do find the bright areas in the top right and bottom left distracting. I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions other than going toward Sharon's interpretation but then you have lost the dreamy high key effect. |

I love finding these little grebes and photographing them. You captured a nice moment of action. The head and eye are nice and sharp and that is the key for me. The slight blur of the wings adds to the feel of action and to me is not a distraction. I might suggest a horizontal crop to give more room in front of the grebe. |

This image does have a nice dreamy feel to it and reminds me of coastal Washington in the winter. In my opinion the sky and horizon line do not add to the image. I feel you could still achieve the dreamy feel by cropping down from the top about half way between the horizon and the waves. Make it more of a panorama. Sharon has an interesting suggestion also that would be fun to see. |

Great capture of these three amigos. I didn't think the front one was a pelican until I read your description and that he had a fish in his pouch. I like that they are all looking the same way and all very sharp. I do find the vegetation at the top distracting and pulls the eye away from the main subjects. I agree with Sharon that cropping down from the top to remove all if not most of the vegetation would make a nicer image. |

Beautiful capture of this egret taking off. The head and eye looks very sharp. What is really distracting to me is the out of focus green vegetation. I know if you are entering this in a contest you are limited on the editing you can do.
However, if allowed I would clone out the large amount of vegetation to the right of the feet. |
