Wow. I love your use of Super Impose X app. It really transformed the garden. Before I read your description and had only looked at the two images my thought was "what incredible work to change the area above the wall." It still may have been a bit of work but kudo's to you for having the creative mind and skill to transform the garden. Well done. |

A beautiful image. I love the wave action and how you were able to freeze that action. Love the boulders in the foreground to anchor the image and the waves and line of the surf leads the eye to the skyline of Manhattan. You were lucky also to have some beautiful clouds. My only suggestion would be to take out the orange (probably a stick) on the right side of the boulder. Well done. |

This does have the feel of winter. The leafless trees, a stark clear sky and the conversion to black and white so no color is evident in the grasses all say it's cold out. I like how the gully leads the eye into the frame. And the frame also compliments the image. |

First, not all graffiti/street art is criminal activity as some cities have set aside areas for artistic expression. Having said that, it would be nice if this historical structure was shown more respect. I like your cropping and how you have enhanced the colors.
Can anyone tell me what it says? |

We are often reminded to look up, look down and look behind you. Looking down in this instance produced a very interesting image. I think B&W works really well here. The bit of grittiness from the app also adds interest. Well done. |

The glow of the morning sky at sunrise brings such peace and serenity. I like how your foreground subjects give a sense of place. Worth getting up for. |

I do t know how I missed that spot. It must be a reflection off the phone lens. I don't know what else it could be. |

A beautiful action of these two hummers interacting. The birds look nice and sharp except of the slight blur in the fast moving wings which nicely shows the movement. For me the out of focus flower in the background detracts from the image. I don't get the sense that it was that flower that attracted the hummers. For me it seems to overwhelm the birds. The soft background nicely sets off the hummers. |

I too like the slight diagonal of the branch with the beautiful spring blossoms. For me the out of focus blossoms at the top are a distraction and don't add anything to the image. To me the whites don't look overly bright so I guess everyone has a different taste. This is a nice high key image of spring. |

I think this is a beautiful image of the Willet. I looks sharp from beak to tail with a nice soft background that still shows the location is on the beach. Your vertical crop works well and I like the further crop that Sharon did as the additional water was not adding to the image. Nice golden light on the Willet's back and off the top of the wave. You found a winner. |

I agree with Lisa and Sharon both on the crop and the image needed some pop. To me it looked flat. I like the additional processing Sharon did. It's hard to really evaluate on my computer screen if the highlights on the mountains are a bit too much. You had some nice light on the mountains and across the hill at sunset. |

There is a lot of power in the water in this image. Your fast shutter speed was effective in stopping the action but did leave some blown out white areas. I think the use of a polarizer may have helped. Shutter speed is up to the photographer, however you might try both a fast shutter speed and a slower shutter speed if you go back to this location. Like Sharon I prefer a slower shutter speed that gives the water a silky look. I like your second crop the best. In the first edited image the tree line against the sky looks to have some kind of aberration. For me having some of the trees in the image adds to the location and perspective. |

A beautiful action shot. To me it looks sharp throughout with nice detail in the white feathers. Your choice of shutter speed was effective in freezing the flying water, running legs and flapping wings. I like that you got the wings in the up position. It's always nice to be able to see the eyes more but in this case I think you got a nice side profile of the swan. If the swan was farther forward and it was more of a butt shot then I would feel different. The muted colors in the water and the portion of the swan reflection work well. I think it is worth saving but probably not a candidate for a competition. |
