I can't pass these up either Sol. I love wandering around a fishing town/marina looking for things to photograph. I like your crop and the effect you added as well as the frame. You did a good job putting the focus on the floats. Well done. |

What an interesting exhibit. Everything comes together to make this a very pleasing image and a memory with your grandchildren. Your granddaughter reacting to the exhibit is an added bonus. Well done. |

A very peaceful environmental image, one that I would probably just pass by. Beautiful vegetation and nice reflections in the water. I'm glad you stopped to admire and photograph it. |

Very colorful. I too like that bottom left corner of textured reef plant. Sometimes it's hard to figure out what to isolate in an image. Some of the blue looks blown out but I don't know if there is a way in Snapseed to adjust a color channel. It looks like a fun day at the aquarium. |

This reminds me of the vast farm lands of eastern WA. Complimentary colors red and green. The red barns are a great highlight in the background. Your farm tour sounds like a wonderful photographic adventure. It's nice to remember where our food comes from. |

I'm more of a color person or total B&W so I tend to like the edited version better because I like to see the various colors in the rock. I think toning down the vibrance or saturation in the edited image might be better. I like seeing the fall color in the far off trees also. What a beautiful place to visit. |

I like your composition with the hen looking to the right with plenty of space. Your subject is nice and sharp and the bonus is the chick hiding under the mothers wing. The background is soft enough to not distract from your subject yet gives a sense of place in the environment. Nicely done. |

Thanks Sharon. In a scene like this I don't feel there has to be a focus point as the whole scene is what I want the viewer to look at. All the lines and contours as well as the complimentary colors of blue and yellow in the scene. As others have suggested I think cropping to a panorama would have made the image more pleasing. |

Thanks Mike. In hindsight I probably did have a polarizing filter on my lens as it really helps pull out the clouds in the sky. However, they also have a down side in causing different saturations of blue. Your suggestion of cropping would solve the issue. |

I think you have done a nice job with your post processing. Even though the background is busy I feel there is enough softness to not detract from the cormorant. With the cormorant being nice and sharp it stands out from the background also. The yellow under the bill and the blue eye add just enough color to bring my eye directly to the bird. Nicely done. |

I love your composition with the trees in the distance through the fog, the two trees in the middle ground and the field of vegetation in the foreground. I also find fog images difficult to post process. These types of images are naturally soft. I like your original better with some added contrast to give it some "life." Your edited image to me has a splotchy look in the fog. I like how you brought out the colors in the foreground vegetation. I don't use PS and only occasionally use Topaz but I would suggest doing a layer mask on the upper two thirds to add some contrast and another mask on the bottom one third to bring out the colors in the vegetation. I really like the moodiness of the image. |

You captured a beautiful moment with wildlife existing together. The oxpeckers are of great benefit to the African wildlife. I love how you zoomed in tight so the focus is on the bird and also shows the wonderful texture in the rhino's hide. My eye wants to go to the dark area in the upper right corner. I think a little tighter crop to remove that area would be beneficial. |

A beautiful early morning image. I love how the foreground trees setup the layers of tree covered hills going off into the distance. The darker ridges keep my eye going through the image. I think the amount of sky works but I also think less sky would work nicely. If you wanted to use this image in a greeting card having more sky area gives you a place to add some text. |

Beautiful image. I like your post processing and that you flipped the image. Tack sharp and I like that you included three bunches of flowers. I think it might also work with a tighter crop that just included the main stem and hummingbird. |
