For me having the person and dog in the scene are key to the composition. I would love to walk with my dog down this road/trail. I agree with Bob that a little less sky would be nice especially since there are no clouds. Good eye in developing the composition. |

I don't think I would have seen the man in the lower left either without reading your description. My eye is riveted to that amazing sky with the orange of the sitting sun reflecting off those amazing clouds and water. I think the pilings really add to the balance of the image. You have a nice foreground, middle ground and background. A keeper for sure. |

I love the textures in the bricks of the building and the cobblestones. So many lines and curves to engage the eye. It makes me wonder how many people have walked by this scene without a second glance. Good eye and composition. |

Bright contrasty scenes can be very difficult but I think you did a good job balancing the highlights and shadows. I agree that the person adds perspective. It seems like the bridge sign needs a name added to it. |

My interest in infrared has been tickled lately by a friend. I haven't pulled the trigger in having a mirrorless camera converted. This is new to me that you can do infrared with an iPhone. Can you do it with any phone with the right filter? Very interesting effect. I was thinking it would be nice to see the original but I guess there wasn't one. I took notes from you description. Thanks for including the info. |

I love the effect you have created. The textures and colors are wonderful. A picture postcard for sure. Every wall in my house is covered with images. There are some old ones in the garage that I took years ago that just don't measure up as my skills have advanced. |

I agree Jerry. I thought about doing that and then didn't follow through. |

Great image Mike. He looks like he is about to jump and take off. Your crop works really well to bring the focus on the monkey and you did a wonderful job with the processing on the face. I think I would like to see the left arm a little lighter just to give it more definition as it almost gets lost in the foliage. You did a great job taming or cloning out the hot spots, however the two at the top, one by your watermark and the other to the right that is a little larger I feel are a distraction.
I don't see any flash effect either although there is some catch light in the eyes possibly from the flash. |

I like that you chose to process this flower in high key. I agree with Mike about the soft background flower in the top left. It seems out of place but since there are several soft petals at the bottom they don't bother me as they seem to fill the void. I think I would consider cropping in more on the right as that flower is more forward and out of focus. It seems like Spring was a long time ago 😊|

I agree the only upside of wildfires is they produce amazing sunsets.Right now where I live there is so much smoke you can't see the sunset 😢. I agree with a Mike that the two hills need more separation. The front ridge line is almost lost into the background hill. A beautiful image and nice that you could capture it from a safe distance. Having a light border around dark or nighttime images helps to define the borders of the image. |

A beautiful flower and your crop is excellent. I was thinking I would like to see a little more room on the left side so that the darker red part of the flower wasn't so close to the edge but in looking at the original that may not have been possible without getting Into the edge of the petal. Well done. |

A beautiful flower (lotus). When you don't find what you go after you just have to shift gears and you did a great job. For not being focus stacked it is amazingly shape from front to back. I like how you softened the background and the green really makes the yellow flower stand out. When I use AI DeNoise I do it at the beginning also. I agree with the others on the watermark. |
