Love your composition with the road traveling up the hill and disappearing around the corner. The yellow flowers, trees and blue sky all make for a wonder image. For me the frame is a distraction, at least this type of modern frame. If you wanted to use a frame I think a more country style frame would be more suitable. I would love to walk this road with my camera or iPhone. |

Beautiful hydrangea. I like the effect caused by the Prisma app especially on the tree and background. As others suggested, if you could tone down the hot spot on the tree and the left side of the flower it would keep the eye on the flower. You have such a beautiful garden and it's so nice that you share it with us. Nicely done. |

A very simple scene but so many lines, shapes and tones to engage the eye. I'll have to check out "Blackie". Nice eye and composition. |

Nicely cropped and the reds are not blown out which is often a problem photographing red flowers. For me toning down the green leaf in the background and the one below the flower would help keep the viewers eye on the flower. Well done. |

Fun app. This was a real brain teaser for me. I had to keep going back to the original to figure some elements out. Glad you included the original. Never heard of the app but then I'm not very good at exploring new apps. Fun to learn from someone else 😊. |

I love finding old rusty things to photograph. I like that you got down for a low angle and got all three trucks in the composition. Trucks are not made like this anymore. Nice shot. |

Canola is the yellow plant surrounding the building. It's what canola oil is made from. |

It has been nearly 40 years since I have been to this mill. It has really stood the test of time. I too kept looking back and forth from the original to the processed image because my eyes were bothered by the softness in the processed trees and clouds. I think I would prefer a little less color in the trees as they seem to be a bit too orange. You were able to recover some detail in the waterfall but photographing waterfalls on a sunny day is tough. I love the clouds in the sky and the mill. |

I like that you got down low and shot the Peony at its level instead of down on it. Nice composition and DOF. I like the dew drops on the leaves. I would either give the leaf at the top a little more room or crop into the leaf as the leaf on the right is cropped off and they would balance each other. The crop should look intentional not accidental. |

Hello Vinoth, welcome. What a beautiful capture of your elusive woodpecker. You were in the right place at the right time. Nice composition with him in the upper third with his head turned to the left with plenty of room to look out of the frame. Very sharp with a nicely blurred background. My only suggestion would be a vignette to tone down the brightness in the background keeping the focus on this beautiful bird. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your images. |

Hello Ally, welcome to the group. What a beautiful first image. You really nailed the focus on the grasshopper and the flower he is on. Also nice that he was cooperative. I agree that a vignette would help to soften the edges and keep the focus on the grasshopper. I put some degree of vignette on almost all of my images. I'm using an old Canon Fd 100mm macro with an adapter on my Sony and having fun with it. Back to manual aperture and focus but it's fun. Looking forward to your images. |

Beautiful poppies and I like that you chose to include three forming a triangle. Nice job in moving the one poppy as it looks natural. Your cropping and cleanup helped bring order to a busy scene. You didn't say what your setting were but opening up more to decrease the dof would help to blur the background more. If that wasn't possible and still have the poppies sharp I think blurring the background more in post processing would help keep the foucus on the poppies. |

A beautiful flower and with your long focal length the flower was nicely isolated from the background. I like the sharpness of the opening buds compared to the slight softness of the background buds. I agree with Mike that the leaves need a little more room the breath near the edge. You were rewarded by looking at the environment around you. |
