Wow 🤩 an amazing image. The focus on the bee and flower are spot on and the colors in the image are incredible. Thanks for the description of your process. |

I love the bright colors and you did a good job getting a blurred background. I think I would crop tighter from the bottom and right side and just focus on the flower stem in the middle. Having a garden to photograph in during this "shelter at home" is a bonus many of us don't have. I have no suggestions on macro lens for phones. |

Some images just feel better in B&W but it would have been interesting to see the original. The leading lines of the bridge takes the eye into the scene and makes me wonder what is down the trail. The bird adds interest in an otherwise blank sky. |

Unfortunately a great memory of a terrible event in our history. My survival kit would definitely include chocolate. You have inspired me to create my own survival kit image. Thanks for bringing a smile to my day. |

I like the warm gold tones but I think I would back off just a bit in the saturation. It would have been nice if you could have kept the trees on the left side of the pond but I don't know how without leaving in the buildings and I like it better with the buildings cropped out. Was there any opportunity to step to the right and compose without the buildings? I love the image and sometimes we just have to work with want we are presented. I also love the sharp detail in the foreground prairie grass. |

Studebakers were a short lived automobile. My dad had on when I was a kid and it would quit every time we stopped at a red light. I love the forced perspective by shooting the car up close. Grasshopper is a fitting name. Great composition and very eye catching. |

This is a bird I have yet to photograph. I live in the wrong part of the country for them. I love your composition and that you added more canvas at the bottom to give the Spoonbill somewhere to go. I like your background color but would tone it down some as I think it is too bright or colorful. The main part of the bird is nice and sharp and I don't mind that the feathers on the wing tips are a bit blurred as it shows the bird is in motion coming in for a landing. I keep going back and forth between the original and the processed image looking at the overall color of the bird. I'm not sure if I think the pink is too saturated or not. I'm leaning toward a little too saturated. It's a wonderful image and I would love to photograph them some day. |

You found a beautiful early spring flower and it's always tempting to photograph them on a sunny day. I have learned through the years that somethings (flowers and waterfalls) are best photographed on overcast days, in the shade or produce your own shade with an umbrella or as Sharon suggested a diffuser. Sunshine tends to washout the colors. Flowers are hard to get sharp from front petal to back petal unless you do focus stacking. I think you have to decide what is the most important part for you and focus on that and let the rest go soft. Using a wider aperture will soften the background more. You said the shadow sealed the composition for you. To me the focus is the middle of the flower with the stamen and the three petals behind it. |

A beautiful action image. I'm glad you added the original as now I can see how you cropped. Although I like the original I like that your crop but the focus directly on the fate of the fish. Nice detail in the heron's head and mouth with his little tongue sticking up. The gold tones of the surrounding water adds a nice background.
I'm confused as to why the judges said this should be in a creative category. |

My first reaction was also WOW! I think you nailed it. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to lighten the feathers on the legs slightly so it doesn't appear just black with no detail. Love the wing angle, sharp from wing tip to wing tip and your DOF softens the background and compliments the eagle. This one deserves to be on your wall. |

These big old trees have a lot of character. I like the ruggedness of the tree in opposition the the delicate flowers at its base. It appears you have cropped it into more of a panorama and I like that you cropped some from the top and lessened the amount of gray sky. I would also crop in from the right and add some dynamic contrast to bring out the great textures in the trunk. As Mike suggested putting a vignette on would pull the eye more to the trunk and flowers and away from the background. This tree deserves more attention by photographing from different angles. |

A beautiful scene and well composed. I like your crop at the top but wondering how it would look with the foreground rock left in as an anchor point. Desaturating the green tree helps take attention off from it but the rest of the scene was benefited by the tonal contrast and saturation. You didn't say what your shutter speed was in the bracket but I like that you used a slow enough speed to give the water that flowing effect. I like your treatment of the water. |

I wanted a wider angle lens for multiple purposes and the Tamron 17-28 and the Tamron 28-75 that are made specific for the full frame Sony are super sharp. I used the lens for this image so I could shoot close to the aquarium glass to eliminate any glare or reflections and still get the Sea Nettles as they moved up and down. |
