Great shot of a fleeting moment. I wonder which end of the rainbow the pot of gold is located ðŸ”. |

A beautiful winter image with the blue tones increasing the feeling of it being cold. Without walking on water or in the water it's often hard to get some things out of the frame. I didn't really see the little grasses in the bottom right at first. Love the reflection. |

It's amazing the different kinds of fungus that can be found and often we walk right by them. Nicely framed to show the environment it is growing in. A good subject for macro photography. |

A beautiful image Jerry. Putting the light in the lighthouse really adds an exclamation point to the image. Great dof. I like the foreground rocks that anchor and lead your eye into the composition. An image that belongs on the wall. |

I too love the composition. A different perspective and just the right cactus to have the branch up close and personal. Great dof. The sunset is an extra bonus that really adds to this image and the warmth on the shade side of the cactus works nicely. |

Thanks Jerry. Now that I see the image posted I can see the noise in the clouds. I will try your suggestion. |

A nice composition showing the winter forest. I like that you included part of the river and you had a nice cloud in the sky to add balance with the tall white tree. I too like to photograph the birch forest especially in winter. |

I like the two subjects you chose to keep in your image. For me this is a difficult image to try to remove distracting elements without it causing artifacts. There are obvious shadows still there but no subject causing the shadow. I think with a lot technical post processing the background could be made to look natural. I don't try to remove large elements in an image but instead try to capture the initial image with the subject more isolated with few distractions around it. |

A nice action shot of the Cormorant. It looks very sharp from wing tip to wing tip. Your selection of a small f stop made for a pleasing background. I like that we can see at least one eye as he looks down to find his landing spot. |

Although we like to have a more frontal view of the wildlife this still works for me as you can still see the Egrets eye with a nice side view of the Needle fish. To me the front leg of the Egret is lost in the dark background so it appears it only has one leg. My suggestion would be to lighten that leg enough to be visible. |

A beautiful fall image. I like your cropping that puts the focus on the reflections in the pond with the forest in the background with good dof. Including the leaves floating on the pond in the foreground provides a nice anchor and balance to the image. Nicely done. |

A beautiful image that really captures my attention. I feel it works best in monochrome. To me the color version looks a little "muddy" but the monochrome was great detail and depth of field. My only suggestion would be to tone down the bright area in the back of the image where the sun is shining through the clouds. My eye wants to drift make there instead of staying in the foreground and middle of the image. Beautiful composition. |
