You did a nice job bringing out the rolling textures and light so typical of the Palouse. |

Trying new things is always fun and sometimes you are pleasantly surprised by the result. It is an explosion of fall colors. |

A beautiful image with a hint of fall in the trees. I wonder if the arches in the lower left would show as rainbows with a polarizer. It might be a fun experiment to try using a polarizer in front of the phone camera lens. Great composition with nice leading lines. |

I agree with Dave in that I would have walked right by this without a second look. The complimentary colors and shapes are very inviting. This is one time when a cloudless sky works. Good eye. |

Another great place for a hike especially in the fall. I agree with Dave and Bob about the over saturation. I think if you dial back the saturation a bit you will have a winning image. The green jacket looks like a neon light on the trail but with decreased saturation it will give a nice perspective. I like your cropping to bring the focus more to the trail and the reflections in the river. |

I also prefer the color version. The brown tones of both the staircase and the surrounding building really draws me into the image. Beautiful composition. |

What a beautiful place to hike. You used the trees nicely to frame the view for a keyhole look at the lake and you used the trees to block out most of the gray sky. The bright fall colored trees at the bottom of the frame provide a nice focal point leading into the image. Very nice. |

I really love the serenity you captured in this image. My first reaction was WOW. The lighter dead tree in the mist provides a focus point for the kayaker. This image would find a place on my wall. |

A very pastoral farm scene. I like that you cropped out the cloudless sky and brought the tractor closer to the foreground. You have brought the focus onto the main subjects of the scene very nicely. The geese are a nice bonus. |

For me this busy scene works well in B&W. The tones make it a pleasing scene that reminds me of a Victorian picture. |

This is a beautiful castle from a different viewpoint from last months submission. I like the detail you have brought out in the stone of the castle. To me the trees are too dark and have lost detail. |

Very interesting that this sculpture looks to be out in the middle of no where. The storm did provide some a nice dramatic sky. Your processing on the structure set it off nicely from the background. |
