An amazing image that really shows how transparent and delicate the wings are on a dragonfly. I never find them sitting so still. Being out early is the key. Nice shot. |

I love the old farm scenes and you found a nice one. I agree with the others about not cutting off the top of the silo but then you have a blank gray sky. It would have been nice if you could have taken the image from a higher perspective which would but more of the stone wall in and not show all of the silo, keeping out the sky. We don't always get the perfect situation and just have to work with the situation. |

This is certainly a scene you would find in the country. Your post processing gives it that old faded look of years gone by. It would be interesting to check on this old truck from time to time and photograph how it weathers over the years. |

I like Painteresque for some images but not sure it works with your beautiful lake scene. I also like B&W. It would be interesting to see the result using Jerry's suggestions. I love the color version with the reflections of the clouds in the lake. |

A wonderful image. Thank you for describing your post processing. I would never think to do all those steps. You have great vision and creativity. |

A beautiful image Dave. The editing you did just brought the whole scene to life. I love the yellow horizon as if the sun is rising and the shadows crossing the road and I wonder what is over the hill. |

Nice profile of a Tom turkey. Sharp focus with nice detail. I agree with Dave that this one begs to stay a color image with all that bright red and blue in his head. |

I agree with Arne and Dave on the overall lighting and cropping of the image. Opening up the shadows a bit would let us see more detail in the man and the icicles. I think you made a good decision to change your focus as the man walked down the road. He adds a good focal point and mystery to the image. |

A beautiful image in both color and B&W. You captured a special moment in time with these cheetahs. |

I love dragonflies and I think you did a remarkable job in editing to turn the background into a soft blur. Possibly a darker background would keep the focus on the subject. Good focus and depth of field. |

I tough shot in daylight but I think you really pulled it off. I agree with David about cropping out the rest of the building on the right. However, I like the clock tower. The light on the side of the Flat Iron building is very effective in highlighting the details in the building. |
