Beverly, this leads me to the suggestion that we all submit both the original and adjusted versions. I learned how helpful this can be from my previous group, bu then stopped doing it here since I was the only one. And now I'm not, so will resume. And I do think it's so beneficial for everyone to see the adjustments in contrast to the original. Wha'da 'ya think? |

And another lovely portrait! The lighting was certainly challenging, but I think you did the best possible, and understand your reason for not cropping the left side. |

Thanks. And Beverly did get that left leaf darker. Think it takes several layers of darkening to really have an affect on some levels of brightness. |

Agree, I also ADORE hydrangeas. And I have seen this version identified as one. |

A beautiful scene and super sharp. And agree with Bev -- it's a better vertical, but the right is still too dark, for me. There's a wonderful tool in Elements, under Enhance. It's the Light and Shadow (or close), and does exactly that -- lightens the darks and darkens the lights, and is totally adjustable. It's a magical tool!!! |

Wonderful shot, and good job with the "fixing", especially removing the black thing! |
