Thanks Margaret. I tried LR a few years ago, and found it very difficult -- for me. I'm just comfortable with Elements. |

Thanks, Beverly, but I think even more yellow would be over-kill. I experimented in Saturation. |

Terrific portrait -- with or without snakes! You're right, his smile and eyes make the image. Especially nice that he's looking straight at you. He has lots of charisma -- as well as his snakes. |

I can see why you liked what you saw. The 3 boats are perfectly spaced -- front to back, both in length and depth. And the background layers are so beautifully separated in their tonal values. And I do like what Beverly did to give it a "pop". Very nice. |

I love sunsets, and this is a beauty! Agree with Beverly -- no improvements needed. Just stunning as is. |

Interesting idea and I like the lighting. Yes. the left "king" is less sharp than the right, but maybe that's OK. To me, the foreground, bottom pieces are too out of focus -- cannot tell, at all, what they are. And maybe it doesn't matter. |

I really think it's lovely, and quite a unique shot of any wild cat. Agree with the others -- it's sharp where needed, plus catch-light in the eye. Frankly, I have long since cared less how images did in competition -- most of their thinking is quite narrow and uncreative. As helpful as competition can be, especially about the basics, it can also be....narrow and uncreative! |
