As someone who's been here several times, it's my #1 place to photograph. I never thought of IR before! It's quite nice, you have set it up well, nice sky and composition. |

I get a lot of scenes like this where I live, and they are captivating. This one works well with your softer style. I particularly like leaves on the path in images like this and I like how in yours, they are visible, and contribute. |

Being on the west coast I'm sure I'll visit here some day. Nice presentation, the trees underscore the hotel very nicely. |

I've never been, Charles, but your image like others I've seen makes me want to go someday. Beautiful architecture, and nice drama with the framing and the sky. |

Quite nice, Arik. Wondering, did you consider a 180 rotation? People often do that with reflections, sometimes has a nice effect. |

I like it as is Melanie. And though Emil's version is also very good, I like the somber mood of yours.
I'm one of those who likes the "find", the seeing, so I wouldn't change the composition, but I'm in the minority on that I'm sure. |

I can see Steven't point, but I actually like the blurred background, the red color, I find it actually contributes to the image for me. We know we're in an ice cream shop now, very nice. |

Like Steven's image, this engages the viewer, and we want to know more, your vantage point in particular! I've never seen one of these before, and would love to see it in action. |

That's pretty impressive, Bill! I've always wondered what it is about painterly that adds interest to an image. Looks like you've aged your son a few years. I can do without the corners ornaments, however. |

You really take advantage of the readiness of the phone camera, Steven! kudos on getting the shot. It's interesting, well taken, engages the viewer, who wants to know the story behind it. |
