66 Oct 25 Comment I agree with Arik's comment that you've put your own touches on this piece of art, by including the beautiful reflection. It's compelling. Something to keep in mind for future images like this, is, you don't need to let the reflection divide the image in half; you can include more of the subject, or of the reflection, and make it off center a little, to add interest. That said, I think the way you've handled it works here. Oct 3rd
66 Oct 25 Comment This reminds me a little of Charles' image this month, Henry, as the subject barn is distinctly off to the side. Here, I'm getting a little bit of the ping pong effect; am I looking down the creek, or over to the barn? It adds a little bit of tension to the image, for me. This image has some beautiful foliage, with well preserved tonalities, especially the foreground vines. Oct 3rd
66 Oct 25 Comment Interesting, and bold that you took this bridge from the side, Gary. It is so much easier to take them from a vantage point where they add depth to the scene. But here, you make up for it with that nice texture revealed. The trees and the sky add to the tranquil mood. Oct 3rd

86 Oct 25 Comment The combination of the wind blown grass, and the small puffy clouds, tells me it's one of those fresh days we get here in North America; nice! The fun part of this group is seeing the slice of life pictures from where others live. Oct 3rd

I like the cloud reflections in the pool, the separation between the pool and ocean, and the way you've included those nice clouds in the sky as well. I hope you got to spend some time in the pool!
